Obviously buying hand gel or anti virus spray is impossible, that's a given, unless you are prepared to pay over inflated prices on ebay or Amazon...but some bloke in Australia has been tasered because he was fighting over buying toilet rolls.
My local Asda has run out of the most obscure items....but has plenty of food on the shelves.

There'd be plenty for everyone if people just shopped sensibly instead of being selfish and clearing the fucking shelves for themselves.
Arseholes.

People fighting over toilet rolls, heard it all now
A few weeks ago we bought some extra food for the freezer and couple extra packs of paracetamol. Just knew many will go overboard, and panic buy.

I'm not a religious sort but I think the way people are now, the way we have abused the environment , the Earth and each other. .
As Cohen once said :
"You have summoned up a thunder cloud.
And your'e going to hear from me."
People who think they live in "normal" civilised times don't have a clue how desensitised to the most abnormal behaviour and attitudes they have become.

Yeah. ...people aren't like that anymore.
Your parting shot sums up the lack of respect people have these days. There is something missing from human beings, possibly humanity itself.
Hopefully the Coronavirus is just an indication of events to come but we are way too far down the road to wake up now. We have to look after the planet that is our home yet we won't . Because that doesn't make money.
The currently faceless elite who live for raking in the cash will demise greedily grasping their useless currency in their grubby chubby mitts.

I went in Boots on Monday to buy a bottle of anti bacterial gel or spray....empty shelves. The pharmacist said people had "been like locusts" they had cleared the shelves of everything....same in the other chemist and even the bargain buy shops, nothing to be had anywhere.
Arseholes indeed.

On Amazon a 50p anti bac gel is going for over a tenner! Bloody ridiculous. I hope Amazon takes these off. I've signed a petition about this aswell. Greedy sellers!

Why the shops didn't ration the sale to 2 bottles each is a mystery, they must have known people would swarm in and clear the shelves....selfish bastards.

The thing that's terrifying me is the prospect of having to live in at work if anyone there gets it.

I heard they may draft in retired carers and NHS staff if the virus takes hold here.
Lots of emergency measures being discussed....not sure how many we will actually need.

It's the residents that are vulnerable and need the care more than ever. Their families must be worried sick.
Sometimes I worry the tabloids are doing their best to whip up a frenzy and cause far more alarm than is needed .. then I worry that if anything they are understating the dangers and in reality we could be in far more trouble than we imagine.

They don't give a shit, and shit sells, many people are human 'sheep' and will follow the herd.*
* Huge insult to sheep BTW, we have long played down their incredibly high cognitive abilities as social animals (like pigs).
So we can slaughter and consume them without guilt.
