It’s weird how you can actually hate an online persona all because of their words/characteristics on screen!.... but I admit, I can! .... yet meeting up in RL would no doubt be a different experience.... although I doubt it for one or two arsewipes!

Over the years there has been only a handful that have really irritated me.
When I first started on the Mirror one woman (and I cant remember her name) but she never had any opinions of her own, she would just tag on an "I agree" or "Quite right" on the end of someone elses posts....THAT really irritated me.

Some daren’t voice their own opinion if it goes against the majority, because they’re shot down by heavy handed, self opinionated mods!.... me being the gob on a stick that I am don’t give a flying one!

Not that many people irritate me in real life, it's easier to walk away....also you can pick and choose who you have conversations with, on forums any old irritant can barge in and join in.
Having said all that....I seldom get irritated nowadays...I must have mellowed.

There is hardly any modding on here...basically, we can't be arsed.

I suss people out very quickly online and real life. I sense something and if I can't take to them at the start, I know there's a reason.
Sometimes I think oh give them a chance, I'm talking real life here, as I couldn't careless on line, but sooner or later something happens and i'm like, I knew it.
Now I always listen to my inner voice.

I was kidding when I said people in RL irritate me too. I get along real well with most people as I'm usually upbeat and happy. I'm pretty loud and gregarious. And crazy enough that the typical forum idiot would steer clear of me in real life.

I bet most forum idiots, the gobby ones who are free with the insults, or the cowardly ones who post their crap anonymously, would steer clear of any conflict in real life.

I try to take that into account when I'm getting irritated. Doesn't always work, but I figure forums are a place for some nobodies, to be somebody. At least in their eyes.

That goes without saying, it costs nothing to be pleasant even if you disagree with someone online.
Certain people on forums if you don't agree with everything they say react as if you had deliberately burned down their house.

Peoples opinions on forums don't really bother me, obviously some are stupid, but as long as they are not being libellous, threatening or dangerous they have as much right to spout their rubbish as anyone else.
It's the ones who continuously resort to name-calling, insulting and swearing, and manipulating what people have said....that sort of thing irritates me.

Tyson worshippers - it's like a seedy religious cult who worship the granny mugging bloke.
Anyone who thinks he would beat all the great heavyweights like so many bums is so fucking deluded it hurts my brain. It now seems to be a part of popular culture, insult the thug twat and you insult them personally.
If you follow boxing at all on social media you instantly know who knows fuck all about it if they say Tyson was the greatest fighter of all time.
Prime Foreman would have decapitated him for example.
If he is lucky he makes it into the lower regions top 12 heavyweights - no more no less let alone pound for pound where he would be fortunate to make the top 75 if that.

It's great for researching opinions and how people respond to having their opinions questioned.

People always have different opinions, especially in sport, boxing included. One person may judge on style, another on knockouts.
