I doubt it can work. What about young people 18 and over who haven't got the jab. Also those who don't want the jab. I think it's a stupid idea tbh.

It's suggested that if it does come in it won't be before all the adult population in the UK has been offered the vaccine. Also it would probably be up to each individual landlord whether they implemented the scheme or not.

I rarely go to pubs so I don't really care.

It wouldn't only be pubs ...restaurants, clubs, obviously travel, the list of places that could demand a Covid passport is endless.

As I've had the jab, I still don't care. It won't affect me personally or anyone who has the sense to have the vaccinations. Only the raging anti vaxxers.

I have no sympathy with anti vaxxers, it wouldn't bother me if they were barred from everywhere.
I doubt it'll happen though. Pubs, restaurants etc will want all the customers they can get after the last year they have had.

I can't wait to go out for lunch, or a meal. It's been such a long time!

In a couple of weeks we will be able to eat outside, AND the weather is set to get hot too.

Maybe everyone who is vaccinated should get a big V tattooed on their forehead.
For safety and all. .

I was in a "pub" last night.
It was great. Of course ours have been open for months.
But we are lunatics.

Unfortunately Quill isn't here to agree with you.

The problem with that is that tattoos are permanent and people can change their mind about vaccines.
Maybe people should just be implanted with chips, like a dog.

The moderate and financially viable solution is simply to burn them all at the stake.

Thankfully, the conspiracy theory put about by the anti vaxxers, that the vaccination implanted a tracking device didn't last long.
The lengths some people will go to to try to deter others is ridiculous.

Isn't that what the anti vaxers are claiming the vaccines are for?

Yes - they are crazier than a shithouse rat.

I'm not saying it's happening, only that it would be easier to keep track of people. And that a sizable portion of the population would be fine with it.
Would it work?
Pub goers could be asked to provide a vaccine certificate, Boris Johnson has told MPs, saying it "may be up to individual publicans".
A review is looking into whether people should have to prove they have been vaccinated, as lockdown measures ease.
A government source told the BBC that the option of allowing people to show a negative test was also being looked at.
