Like many folk, my Christmas plans were buggered up by Covid but thankfully Hogmanay/New Years Day is going to be okay!!

I would just like to wish all members and guests (Vam and Gabs) a Happy New Year!!

In other news...i felt like i had won the lottery earlier today, when i had my follow up Endoscopy (Back in October i almost died when a stomach ulcer burst and i lost several pints of blood) well the ulcer has healed completely!!

Aye i'm very relieved and to think it was all caused by tablets i was prescribed by my doctor.
Diclofenac, anyone taking them should be very wary.

Seriously I take mine down new yrs day, that's it for another year. Mind you mine goes up first week in December, yours go up later.

Yours are up 2 weeks before mine....mine go up on the 15th.
Mind you, OH has been up the tree taking the outside lights down today.
That's a big job, we actually carried it home from the garden centre back in the day....now it's as tall as the house.

I am not really superstitious, but I also think it might be tempting fate if I take them all down...(so I suppose I must be more superstitious than I think I am)
