I'm going to make lentil soup later, I had terrible trouble finding them yesterday in Asda.
I was up and down each aisle about a hundred times.
The price of Iams has shot up from when i first got Shorty.
I got some of that too,

I am really jealous of this I've always wanted to go to a crawfish boil. There are some restaurants that attempt it round here but I don't think would be as good!

Nothing all day then around about 7pm a very hot but flavoursome chicken curry followed by a few bottles of chilled IPA.
Chilled outside cos it's colder than the fridge!
And there's more room out there.

Nothing like a curry and a beer

I had a very scrumptious 'Beefy Bake' out the butchers and one of the 'steamfresh' vegetables bags from Birdseye.
Followed by a glass of milk and my Stomach tablets last night!!
I had a few IPAs last night..
I had sausages on plain bread, I didn't like them much.
I gave some to Shorty and binned the rest.
I hardly ever drink. But I do like cocktails when I go on holiday.
This is my absolute favourite food at the moment
Piedmont Peppers
Recipe
Split in half red bell peppers and remove seeds and pith.
Fill with quartered tomatoes, fresh basil and top with sliced garlic. (tuck the basil beneath the tomatoes so it doesn't burn.)
Drizzle with olive oil and add plenty of salt and black pepper.
Bake in a slow oven for about 1.5 hours or until slightly charred and soft.
They're soooooo tasty.
The photo shows strips of anchovy but I leave them off.

I would eat those with anchovies. Trying to incorporate more little fishes into my diet..
I had another Beefy Bake last night with tatties and vegetables.
I did the tatties and vegetables in the slow cooker.
Baked chocolate muffins this morning for my guests.
Went to a crawfish boil yesterday.
