Spider season seems to be upon us a little earlier than normal here in N Wales.
In the house in the car thick webs to wrap around you outside front and back doors.
Webs strewn across hedgerows and fields... more like late September mid October.
I blame the sun.

Urgh! No I can't read about them, the very name scares the hell out of me. I hate them. I'm terrified of them. 😖

I'll put this in this thread, I'm sure Jack won't mind.
I haven't seen a single wasp this year.
Bumble bees yes but no wasps.
It's most peculiar.

I love flowers so my garden is full of them for months, hardly any bees or red admirals this year. We used to get loads of frogs and newts, the landscape has changed now, the main pond has dried up, so they are gone too.
Unfortunately, the spiders are still around, especially now spider season is upon us.

I've seen hundreds, the back garden is hoaching with them.
I even bought a mosquito net for the back door to try and stop them coming in the kitchen.
Spend ages putting it up and the damn thing fell on ma heid as soon as I opened the door!!

Don’t kill them… a glass and an envelope is all that’s needed to put them outside!
