My latest one...I have bought a beautiful full length white lace skirt, absolutely lovely, it fits like a glove, I have numerous tops and sandals to go with it....problem, where will I wear it?
I have a full wardrobe of holiday clothes, unfortunately, none of them look right in Manchester.

When I first saw that pic thought you were skiing.
I also had short hair at the time, I looked like a football hooligan.

What's fashionable in Texas should stay in Texas. Including music.

I am going back in time, but I remember when my OH and I were first going out, he picked and bought me a dress for my birthday.
He thought it was lovely, it was grotesque. Satin, bottle green (I hate green clothes) very low cut, flappy sleeves, and midi length.
I was too nice to tell him I hated it, so I wore it (just once) on my birthday....then demoted it to the back of my wardrobe for ever.
Thank God he has never tried to buy me a dress since.

I get the feeling that even though it's a big state, the horizons are narrow

Nah. The state is one of the most diverse. My horizons are narrow in terms of fashion and art.

My fashion disaster thread has gone from bad to worse.

Back in about 1990, thought I was the bees knees.
