Thanks Mags...I should have said the answer was Rigsby, the character Leonard Rossiter played.

I'll chuck another one in - it's all about TV and I've gone back a few decades for this lot. I'll give out points for this one, for the name of the programme, character names, actor names, anything goes
1. He was a hologram on a spaceship who was he, can you name anyone else on board
2. He used a slug as a moustache
3. Xxxxxx the Bolt
4. These three weren’t baddies - in fact quite the opposite
5. Vyvyan was one of the students in this student house, can you name the rest of them

No 4..Tim Brooke Taylor, Graham Garden, Bill Oddie. I don't know why I remember them, I didn't think they were funny in the least.
No5..The Young Ones. Rik Mayall, Ade Edmonson, others I can' t remember...Cliff joined them for a rendition of his song of the same name.
No3..The Golden Shot, like Mags said. A girl called Anne Aston used to co-present, a blindfolded cameraman would load the crossbow, a member of the audience would direct him where and when to fire....I liked that show.

Yeah you got quite a few, I reckon three for no 4, five for no 5 and one for no 3 so you got nine points there, and still a few more up for grabs.

Ahhh...I never watched that series.
I think Rowan Atkinson was in it though, and Miranda Richardson played the Queen..(I think) that's about as far as my knowledge goes.
Good quiz (did I beat Mags?)

I would guess David Jason.
Fools and horses has got to be one of the most popular UK series ever...then Frost, and possibly Open all hours?

Sorry Ladies but it was Geoffrey Palmer.
1 Cathy Come Home
2 Doctor Who
3 Fawlty Towers
I'm surprised Only Fools and Horses wasn't in the top three.
I'm watching "As Time Goes By'" boxset
Very funny in a gentle way.

I would have not guessed him in a million years.
I can't remember him in any of the top three you mentioned, but I loved him in Butterflies.
