I will keep you posted...knowing me I will bottle it and just have a trim.
OH is always disappointed when I come back with still long hair. He loves it short. Once, when we were 'courting', I had my then very long hair cut very short on a whim.....I hated it, he loved it.

Yeah, those spirally curls are great on toddlers, not so much on very mature ladies.
Now my hair is white, if I let it dry naturally, OH says it looks and feels like a lambs coat...the bastard.

She looks great, but she was always fair haired and light skinned, so her now naturally white hair really suits her.
She definitely suits that short cut too. When her hair was longer and she tied it back off her face, it made her look very severe, imo.

Fair enough, Syl.
As I suggested a couple of days ago, I still think looking into getting some easy-maintenance highlights/lowlights might be a way for you to break up the ‘white’ you’re unhappy about.
(your guy’s oh-so-tactful opinion did make me LOL, btw!)

He actually likes it like that, he is a very weird man.
I will sort something out, I have moaned about my hair since I was young....like you said a while back, we all have something about ourselves that we don't like. With me, it's my hair....oh, and my feet.

l will answer Fluffy on here, rather than disrupt a serious thread.
This may have been the pic you meant Fluffy, though I certainly don't lookl ike Dr Quinn medicine woman....not on any pics. I look nothing like her, Jane Seymour is lovely though, so I am flattered.
The pic I have posted on my avi...(and it was taken on the eve of the millennium) I remember NAA commented that Grannies should never wear studded tops. (They are pearls, not studs)

I thought you did it may well be because you look lovely there!. I think you had the your face closer to the cam though. It was when I very first joined Dogs.A wise choice on my part..!
Your hair looks beautiful both brunette and white. I'm so fair that when I dyed my hair dark it totally washes me out and I looked like a goth. I am starting to get grey hairs now: but it makes bleaching my hair easier and less damaging.
My bloke prefers my hair shorter to long too, I could never go shorter than on my shoulders.Right now I'm sporting interesting layers I didn't want.. This pic was a brief change to extensions last year.

Wow @ Syl and the Fluffster 😎😎 Looking so damn fine, both of you!
Glad to see you’ve ditched all that bright blue eye shadow from back in the day, Fluff 😉 Now we can better see your pretty eyes.

They shouldn’t wear jodhpurs when they have massive arses, either. But I’m sure that never stopped her….
Bitter And so twisted - like she swallowed a nail and shat out a corkscrew.

You are definitely a blondie Fluffy, I can't see you with dark hair at all.
You are also lucky in that when you do get older and greyer, your natural fairness will disguise the greys, and they won't be so noticeable....you have years to go before that happens though.

Thanks Vam xx The pic you put up very briefly here was also gorgeous. You Syl and Digs seem all blessed with thick dark hair.
It wasn't just the blue eyeshadow I regret but combining with it with that awful pale pink lipstick It didn't look that bad in real life as in my very low resolution gifs but youth is very forgiving.
Can't believe that was 12 years ago (I think that's roughly right . I joined Dogs when I was 31 and turned 43 this August) We have spoken to each other for over a decade. I know I only got on with Syl at the time but I honestly really appreciate getting past all that and being accepted by you ladies and chatting in a friendly way. It means a lot to me x
I think other people would like to forget the past and chat but their pride won't allow them to apologise first or speak with someone who said something to them they didn't like one January 7 years ago ! It seems daft to hold a grudge.

It suits ladies with brown eyes and if applied in.a subtle way. Not with a trowel
I also liked it in on the blonde lady from Abba in the video for "Winner takes it all". But she was a stunning lady who would suit anything and I believe she had brown eyes. Totally off topic I know but didn't they have affairs with each other's spouses and Agatha became a recluse.
I'm not keen on Abba songs I have to say but I liked that song, it has a bitter edge and was heartfelt since based on their real life break up's.

Agreed, I won't go dark again. I don't have the complexion to carry it off.Oh I do have a few greys, my hairdressers smugly told me so last year.
As for NAA she may have bitched rabidly in private about me(or she may not have cared less) but I don't recall her saying much to me on forums.
