That's actually quite worrying from what I watched from the footage.
If the police cannot maintain the perception they have the numbers to keep marches under control then it opens the door for protesters to keep pushing the boundaries.

@Fluffy - hope you see this message and just to let you know that it's all good. I'm wasn't exactly an angel on Dogs sometimes.
I'm glad we cleared the air. I do think it is sensible if we post around each other as agreed but I will still be reading your posts with interest (even the long ones!)
If his figures are correct, and he usually does talk a lot of sense, so I presume he is not plucking figures from the air, it just shows how pathetically woke GB has become.
Police can arrest people in their thousands for saying out of favour words online, but they can't forcibly restrain hecklers that are overpowering them at a protest march.
My dad was a DS, he used to come home with bloody knuckles where he had dealt with the lawbreakers.

Surely there should be a happy medium somewhere.
I agree it's ridiculous now. Since Starmer got in the country has changed beyond belief.
I knew lefties would take over when Labour got in. Police are damned if they do and damned if they don't.
"NHS England has removed an article examining the subject of first cousin marriage after a public backlash.
A blog published on 22 September by NHS England’s Genomics Education Programme said that marriage between first cousins had “various potential benefits,” while acknowledging that children of first cousins had an increased chance of being born with a genetic condition."

It's always been a rule first cousins can't marry or uncles can't marry nieces.
This is for all the.Muslims who marry their cousins, or uncles marry their nieces, you can't do that, it's disgusting!

Our country they should abide by our rules!
First cousins can legally marry in the UK, you are right about uncles, and aunts, they are forbidden to marry nephews and nieces.
Even though first cousin marriage is legal here, it certainly isn't normal to marry within the family. Obviously, the way the demographic of the country is changing, new laws should be brought in. The NHS is under too much strain as it is without a multitude of genetic disorders added to their list.

I didn't know that about cousins.
Although you have to look at some hereditary diseases that can come through the line. That's why aunts, uncles are not allowed to marry nieces and nephews.

Mags, on a serious note. Why can't other faiths abide by their own culture and religion if they were born and working, paying tax in the UK, as long as they integrate a bit more in.society,?
I don't think any country dictates that Muslims can not follow their own faith many Muslims who are British born see themselves as just as British as you and I.

Robert Jenrick should apologise for his "disgraceful comments" bemoaning the lack of visible white faces in a part of Birmingham, the Mayor of the West Midlands has said.
Richard Parker told Sky News' The UK Tonight with Sarah-Jane Mee he was "shocked and truly appalled" by what the shadow justice secretary said about integration in Handsworth.
In a recording from March obtained by The Guardian, Mr Jenrick said that the inner-city area "was one of the worst integrated places I've ever been to" and that "in the hour and a half I was filming news there I didn't see another white face".
I think he just didn't like being surrounded by people of colour. It's interesting he explains his disgust at the "lack of white faces" by wanting a more integrated multi cultural society. Is that why he chose to live in a village with only ONE person of colour according to the census?

If this article is about first cousins being permitted to marry ( although I didn't know that myself,) why are Muslims and other family members being discussed in relation to the article? Do Muslims approve of marrying Uncles and nieces?
First cousins feels a bit ick to me 😲
Syl, genuine question regarding the BIB. What is occurring besides first cousins marrying that makes you suspect a multitude of genetic disorders will flood the NHS?

People being violent to the police does not he!p their cause in any way, in this case a highly valid one. Gaza are the victims of Genocide or at the very least ethnic cleansing and I can empathise with folk being militant and outraged by all the children being killed and the aid being denied etc.
But this sort of behaviour will only make people less sympathetic to their cause.

Gary Neville recently expressed his views on the increasing division in the UK, attributing a significant part of it to "angry, middle-aged white men."
He mentioned this in the context of taking down a union flag from a building site he owns, stating that it had been displayed for "negative" reasons. Neville reflected on how these white middle aged men seem to be "turning us on each other," emphasizing that the resulting division is "absolutely disgusting."
The video of Gary Neville's exact statement is below

They want Islam here. This is not a Muslim country.
If you live in another country you abide by their rules. If we lived in Pakistan we wouldn't be be allowed to wave our flags or be a Christian, should work here aswell.

Inbreeding puts children at risk of genetic abnormalities. There is loads of reliable info online.
The closer the bloodline, the bigger the risk.

I realise that Syl but do other religions practice inbreeding to the point you eluded to? I didn't know first cousins were permitted and didn't think they should be!
All I meant was if other ethnicities do practice inbreeding then obviously it must be stopped. I didn't realise Islam did this. I know they force young girls into marriages far too young in Afghanistan etc but I'm totally surprised at the info here relating to incest and Islam.
