Amidst all the bad news about horrible people, I believe the majority of people are kind, and this man is representative of them all.
Brilliant to see some good news has made the internet.

Is this James Anderson do you know? if so he’s been investigated for fraud and spending cash donations, making up stories about people he has, supposedly, helped out. The pic looks similar to that Anderson.
“ Anderson is accused of making up claims he saved an 84-year-old woman from killing herself and publicising clients' private information despite them refusing him permission.
Today, Anderson - who runs social enterprise Depher - apologised 'to anyone who has been hurt by these accusations which have been made against me' and for 'any mistakes' he's made over the last seven years.
But when challenged by the BBC and GB News about the posts he's allegedly faked, he didn't give an explanation, but denied using the raised money for his own benefit.
However he told GB News: 'I'm only human, I'm doing the best I can.' “
“ His company says it provides 'free or heavily subsidised emergency plumbing and heating services to vulnerable and struggling' people.
But an investigation by the BBC found Anderson made at least £2million in donations after capitalising on the cost of living crisis with social media sob stories.
Some of them were allegedly lies, with Anderson admitting 'I've made mistakes' but blaming his missteps on a campaign of 'bullying' by online trolls.
In one case, Depher allegedly peddled a false suicide claim that portrayed Anderson as a hero. A post from June 12, 2022, showed a woman with her face covered next to Anderson with the caption: 'Shared with permission. A lady, 84 years old rang @DepherUK & spoke to myself, she was upset and desperate. She lived 53 miles away in #Preston. I drive as fast as I could, when in got there she had a Noose ready to commit suicide. All she wanted was hot water! #costoflivingcrisis.'
The woman actually died in February 2020, the BBC said.
The woman's daughter told the broadcaster the post's claims were 'a complete lie' and made it seem Anderson was 'using vulnerable people like my mother as a money-making machine'.
Anderson admitted the post was false and apologised to the family but denied putting the image online himself.
The same image was posted online seven times between February 2021 and August 2023, with varying ages and locations, the BBC reported. “
If it’s the same bloke then he’s not the do-gooder he makes himself out to be, some reports claim he’s just a typical con artist preying on the vulnerable.

From hero to zero, a manipulating con artist....just shows you can't always believe what you read.

I’m always wary now, if someone is claiming they’re a “nice guy” the chances are they’re not.
This one, like other con artists, claimed there was a witch-hunt when people started calling him out. There’s something about him on iplayer called “scams & scandals” but I haven’t watched it so don’t know too much about it.
i used to give to certain charities in the past even to GoFundMe on occasion but no more…Captain Tom finally capped it for me. Too many thieving sods out there now ripping folks off.

Something simple, but it cheered us up.
Every year we get a pair of wood pigeons, who in the spring make a nest in a big Christmas tree we planted out years ago. All winter, the pair of them have been seen, always together, till a few weeks ago, just one appeared. He sat in the tree, flew around, avoided the Magpies, and just looked so lonely. We would watch him, and thought his partner must have died.
This morning, they are both back together, strutting their stuff, just like before.
Not sure where she has been, maybe flew the nest and thought the grass would be greener elsewhere, but she has returned home once more, and there they sit, like Darby and Joan.

Oh bless. Bet the one who left for pastures new was male, then realised the best bird was at home

They are inseparable again...just googled, wood pigeons can live up to 15 years, so they will be the same pair that come here every year to build their nest.

And magpies...which is why they are usually seen in pairs. An interloper usually gets fought off.

I can relate to this having moved from the north of England to the South. Saying hello and/or smiling whilst at the bus stop you’d have thought I was stealing the souls of children.
and don’t get me started on my asking for chips and gravy.

Another for Syl. As a Texan I can relate..😎

I have seen that before, and there is some truth in it.
Thing is he was never going to deport him. He doesn't want to fall out with royal family.
Trump doesn't give two shits about royalty. In fact, Trump is more inclined to irritate the royals because he can..
Right now Harry isn't on Trumps radar so he's fine.I suggest Harry keep it that way because Trump is vindictive..
My mum broke her favourite mug just before Christmas and apparently her tea tastes funny in other cups.
Anyway she bought the set more than thirty years ago and after much searching, I found her a replacement.
Wasn't cheap but worth it because of how pleased she was.
😁
