The eighteen year olds were given the death penalty (All three executed)
The UK could learn a lot from America.

You'd like to see the death penalty re-introduced here, including teenagers?

Gone but never forgotten.
It's one of those horrendous events that, if you are old enough, you remember where you were and who you talked to when the news broke.

Not sure about Vita, I would welcome the death penalty being brought back here for certain crimes.
Not for anyone under 21 though.

Even after all this time it's still hard to believe someone could be so evil.
A paramedic who was one of the first on the scene apologised a few weeks after the atrocity for saying he wanted to kick Hamilton's body when he saw what he'd done.
Perfectly understandable remark in my opinion.

Yes.
Ian Huntley, Roy Whiting, Mark Bridger and Lucy Letby are all deserving of the Death Penalty.

I agree.
Especially crimes against children, mass murder, terrorist attacks, other heinous crimes...get rid, quick, efficient, humane for the victims families, and a damn sight cheaper than pandering to them in jail for decades.

It seems to be peach in colour and reminds me of a dress you would see in 'Gone With The Wind'
I'm not keen on it and apparently neither was Jackie Kennedy.
I'm getting a wee bit worried about this now.
The replacement box is here but no sign of the necklace.
Still more than a week to go.
🙁
My mum and dad's Wedding Anniversary later this month.
One more year and they will get a telegram from the King.
I have to write in with their wedding certificate.
Finding it will be the hard part because mother has put it in a 'safe place'
Lol so safe she forgot where 😅
Like her passports, birth certificates etc, Mags.
They're in a 'safe place' too.
I'm almost finished my book about Alex Maurdaugh.
I just can't fathom why he did it.
Public sympathy some suggest but by shooting his wife and son dead?
It seems extreme.
Looks like Donald is going to go head to head with Joe Biden in November.

It's the wedding dress she wore to marry JFK.
She looked lovely though.
She did Syl.
She always wore nice things, only 64 when she died.
Bobby Kennedy's widow Ethel will be 96 next month.
Talking of weddings...
Maw and Paw are celebrating their 59th wedding anniversary today.
Only one more year and they can get a telegram off the King and their fotie in the local paper.
Well not exactly...
1...Mother doesn't want a telegram
2...Mother doesn't want her and Father's fotie in the local paper 'look at those old gits ' people will say.
Oh and she's eighty this year and I've been warned 'no surprise parties '
🙄
Aww congratulations to them. I'm sure she will enjoy it when it comes.
