This pig "hunter" hit a yearling female wolf on his snowmobile mortally injuring it. Instead of doing the merciful thing & easing it's passing he taped its mouth & dragged the dying animal around a bar, took pictures before taking it outside & shooting it. The fact nobody objected is worse. What are we come to, as human beings, that we treat a sentient creature so monstrously? I'd gladly kneecap this twat with his own shotgun.
I'm not sure about this story. Hunting on snowmobiles? That animal doesn't look mortally wounded nor drug.
It looks healthy enough that taping his mouth shut would have been a disaster for the guy doing the taping, if thats truly a wild animal..
I think that's a wolf hybrid pet, that someone is fucking around with..

And I don't think that's a bar. Is that a bag of dog food in the back?
Why are there pots on the floor and who's running around the bar without their shoes on??

Well, that Muslim is drinking what we call "Colorado Kool Aid".
Coors beer.
Anyway, I was appraising a house out in the country last year. Instructions were to close gates. Not am unusual request and not even a necessary one for any self respecting Texan. You always leave gates as you find them..
So, I went through the gate and was walking towards the house when two large hybrid wolves came trotting towards me.
Turning amd running would be the worst thing in the world. I steeled myself and was hoping for the best.
About then the owner came out the front door.
He didn't seem too concerned so I let out a deep breath. These animals were definitely not friendly like most dogs, nor did they bark. Very aloof. Sorta just watched you without any emotion. I think they knew they could fuck me up at any time .
I think they are dumb animals for pets, and the few times I have come across them the owners were sort weird.

He didn't hunt it. He knocked it down. Decided to bring the injured animal back to his local with its snout taped up, made fun of it then shot it out back. But not before having his grinning photo taken with it. Fucking pig.

Disturbing video has captured the anguished final moments of the wolf that was paraded around a Wyoming bar by a hunter before he fatally shot the animal in the parking lot.
The unsettling footage, obtained by the Cowboy State Daily from the Wyoming Game & Fish Department, captured the large, wild canine with a muzzle on its face, tied up in the corner of the bar with a shock collar around its neck.
The new videos were apparently captured after Cody Roberts, 42, allegedly hit the wolf with his snowmobile in another disturbing incident on Feb. 29.
He had allegedly disabled the wolf when he ran over it with a snowmobile, but instead of killing it — which is legal in Sublette County — took the animal to his home and then to the bar.
After parading it around for the other bar patrons, Roberts took it behind the building and killed it, according to the Cowboy State Daily.
He has since been cited for illegal possession of a live wolf and fined $250.
But animal rights activists say Roberts should face harsher punishment for his treatment of the wild animal, with more than 77,000 signing an online petition calling for the Daniel resident to face felony charges for “the torture, abuse and murder of this innocent creature.”
“Animals have just as much right to feel safe and be spared any unnecessary pain,” the petition says.
“If it was a person being tortured, the man would be in jail immediately.”
The petition also argues that bringing felony charges against Roberts would send “a clear message that animal cruelty will not be tolerated.”
I can't watch it, but I will definitely sign the petition.

OK, read numerous articles.
Only The Post called this guy a hunter. It was February in Wyoming. I can't think of any thing legal to hunt in February except predators like wolves. And even then, most folks don't hunt them as much as just dispatch them when they are near livestock..
I guess he could have been hunting them with his snowmobile? Because they are a nuisance animal in this county, that's legal, if not an odd way to hunt them..
I doubt much more is going to happen to this guy. What this wolf went through is not nearly as bad as a leg trap.
Now, in the age of the internet it's probably best to not post pics of this nonsense. Either run over it again and kill it, shoot it (assuming you are armed,l) or leave it for the other animals to finish off.
People aren't bothered by dead people. But woe on the person who harms animals.

Speaking of wolves..........
Farmers in Switzerland dumped the carcasses of sheep that were killed by wolves in front of a regional government building on Saturday as part of a protest to demand more action against the predators.
About a dozen breeders came from the Saint-Barthélemy area in the western Swiss canton of Vaud to lay 12 carcasses in front of Lausanne’s Chateau Saint-Maire, the regional government headquarters, AFP reported.
“These sheep were killed last night,” Eric Herb, a member of a Swiss association demanding the regulation of big predators, told the Keystone-ATS news agency.
“It is really time to act. The breeders have played nice until now, but this time it was too much.”

What has this to do with the cruelty that guy did to that young wolf? I get they have to keep the population under control but why be sadistic about it?

Nothing. It was just a story about wolves.
Yes, he made a spectacle about the whole thing. However, he didn't abuse the animal besides bringing it to the bar to let people see and take pictures with. It was all a bit undignified no doubt. And he prolonged the animals suffering by not killing it right away.
His mistake was smiling like dumb fool taking a pic with the poor animal while he was holding a beer. It conveyed a message that he was happy about the wolf's pain and suffering.

Dogs and other animals are routinely muzzled, especially when they are injured. And i doubt it mattered if you gave it a drink if you're just going to dispatch after an hour anyway, which is what happened.
No doubt the animal was put through unnecessary stress by being handled by humans, prior to it's being dispatched..

“People were petting it, taking photos of it, hugging on it,” the person recollected. “I want to be clear: He wasn’t kicking or beating or torturing it. The torture was in not putting it down when he ran it over.”
^^From the anonymous eyewitness who alerted the authorities..
Meanwhile in Australia today seven people were stabbed to death and a baby was also stabbed.
The death of this wild animal was turned into a spectacle that never should have happened the way it did, but let's not sink in to the world of anthropomorphism. That's hardly helpful for any of the planets species because it's centered around emotion.

Gaffa tape around it's mouth is not a muzzle. Not giving it a drink because you're going to kill it anyway is just inhumane. You can make all the excuses under the sun here, but this was cruel whichever way you look at it. You can see the wolf is ill or in pain as it looks utterly miserable. And everyone in that bar was laughing and taking photos? That kind of mentality makes me sick.

Nobody is putting human emotions onto an animal. We're talking about a creature that feels pain, anxiety, fear. That's not anthropomorphism.
