Well time will tell...maybe. Trump, at the moment, is throwing his toys out of the pram because he didn't get a peace prize.
I wish I had faith that time will tell. Maybe it will. 🤷
Yes, Trump is going full megalomaniac or some shit.
I wonder what he has to do before his loyalists come after him with a straight jacket?
Probably not until after the midterms in November. He will be a lame duck by then, and possibly completely bat shit crazy (especially if the Dems clean house like they are likely to do..
’by then…and possibly’?? 😳
Since 2016, his batshittery has been like water that flowed under 1000 bridges and right into the remotest parts of the world’s oceans. IOW his insanity and psychopathy were a done deal years ago, Dawg.

This one’s for Avon, in case he’s looking in.
All the things we know, but couldn’t hope to express quite like Greg Olear does.
One thing I’m betting on is trump’s fragile ego will feel very threatened around all the world leaders at the Davos Summit this week. Cos he gets very prickly and precious when surrounded by people who he knows are infinitely more intelligent and experienced than he is. He’ll probably end up making a complete twat of himself on the world stage, yet again. Probably come up with a reason to leave the Summit early too - like maybe bombing Iran, or something…

Just read if true, US war jets to land on Danish territory.
Surely not. 😞

Even our weak leadership is making it plain that Trumps latest power struggle won't be backed by us or the rest of Europe and beyond. I'm afraid till Trump is gone and someone who isn't riddled with dementia or madness is running America, our allies for the last 70 years will become more and more strained. Trump is ruining your country's reputation, and he is being allowed to do it...God knows why.
The powers that be are the vice president and the cabinet. The VP and a majority of the cabinet must agree he is incapacitated. Should Trump disagree, (which he would) then it requires a 2/3 majority in both the house and the senate..
That's probably not going to happen unless he bombs Paris or some shit..

So was Washington over 200 years ago. We have become two warring tribes that demand 100% allegiance to the tribal leaders..
"However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion."

Very prophetic.
Scary though that the power cunning, unprincipled men have today is a lot more deadly than it was 200 years ago.
I never can tell if he believes the stuff he says, or knows it's wrong but he does it to jerk people's chains.
He is president of your country, his role is not to jerk peoples chains. He is an ignorant madman who thinks he is the second coming.
I would be incredibly ashamed to be a US citizen if I had voted that idiot in.
A lot of them voted for him to tell the rest of the world to fuck off and use our position to be a bully.
They are getting what they wanted. 🤷
Look on the bright side. Only 3 more years to go..😉

Trump has found some new friends for his 'board of peace' but how ironic that half those countries are banned from travelling to the US under his travel ban designed to protect his country from foreign terrorists and public safety threats. You couldn't make it up if you tried.

I think the Greenland deal is silly, but he has forced them into some sort of deal..
And that's usually his his M.O..
Ask for something stupid, threaten people and then negotiate something far less than he initially asked for..
That said, his approval rate is around 35% and come November I think the Dems will take the House for sure and maybe the Senate. Then things will get real interesting. I can almost guarantee he gets impeached a 3rd time.

I can't believe that every 35 out of 100 supposedly sane people who are allowed to vote in your country still back him.
Nearer to home....I am waiting for an update.
"Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham has until 17:00 GMT to decide if he wants to stand in the upcoming Gorton and Denton by-election.
Winning the parliamentary seat would enable Burnham to challenge Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer for the party leadership."

And I think many people support the enemy of their enemy.

It's definitely not good. And the reaction by the administration is making it worse..
People who understood how the first shooting happened are not understanding this one.
It's obvious he was disarmed when he was shot. He also clearly never reached for his weapon.
There is some discussion that the agent discharged a round while pulling the gun from the victims holster which isn't unusual in that model of gun. That would explain what seems like a slight pause after the first shot..But that's just speculation..
