When son was about one year old, we bought him a Fisher Price Jack in the box....it scared him to death. I put it away till he was around two....got it out, sat with him and told him when he pressed the button the Jack would pop up. He couldn't wait to try it out again...when Jack popped up, he screamed his head off worse than when he was one.
I gave it away to a neighbour's kid.

Kids will often pick up on and mimic their parents’ body language.
Question here is: is that cutie mimicking his Mum, after his Dad cooked dinner/didn’t lower the loo lid? Or is it what his Dad does when finding the house is a tip, cos the Mum’s been vegged out on the couch watching telly/scrolling through social media all day?
And she's not competing in the kids division. She's racing full grown women with boots older than her.

A natural-born little superstar! 💜 A joy to watch.
Her yellow horse totally loves her, too

All I could think of was I hope under that hat she has suitable head protection.
I like horse riding, total amateur, but I like a bit of a canter on a well behaved horse.
My horrible sister has always owned horses....before we fell out she 'allowed' me to ride her favourite horse, a bloody big cart horse, who she had trained, unbeknown to me, to canter up the far field, turn, then gallop back and jump the fence she had erected. She didn't tell me this...as soon as he turned and started galloping back, that bloody fence came nearer and nearer, he jumped, I fell off, which I knew was going to happen, I had never jumped fences before.
Or since.

There is no head protection under that hat.
I've seen a few women wear protection barrel racing, but for the most part that's for the bull riders.
You're sister just wanted to add a little excitement to your day..😉

My sister is a cow.
For that little girl to be riding that fast and dangerously, it's ridiculous that her parents have allowed this without ensuring she is wearing a hard hat.

I’m not laughing…honest! 😇
Glad the tumble you took didn’t put you off for good, and you got back onto a saddle. And yes, your sis does sound like a cow
My top tip: never ride a horse for the first time, until it’s had a good sniff at you and not before you’ve stuffed its face with apples/carrots - and definitely some Polo mints!

Good tip Vam, it didn't put me off, I have ridden a bit since.
Another time, she went out on her cart horse (who was lovely btw) and offered me her husbands new horse...a beautiful big black shiny beast, I loved him too.
Actually, that day I had a good ride, but when we got home, her OH went mad. Apparently this horse was very feisty, and my sister had never ridden him because she was scared of him.
(None of the above is the reason I don't speak to her now BTW, I was a very forgiving sister for a long time)

Probably 65 pounds of young lady handling 1000 pounds of Quarter Horse..
She's turning and burning..
