I'm sick to death of all the bleeding heart self pitying platitudes coming from menopausal women. All the hand wringing and tearful....."I...I...sorry, I can't speak..." shite.
It's a natural bodily process all women have to go through. It's not a disease. Some get it tougher than others. So fucking what. Grow some and move on.
My thoughts exactly, fgs, women have had this for thousands of years. I'm sick of these woke, poor me women! They can get HRT for this, back in the day they just got on with it!

Childbirth, breastfeeding, menopause, all stages many women go through, and till the last 20 years, just got on with it.
The present generation are made to feel these 'life changing' events are a new phenomena, and must be catered for by the rest of society....what a self entitled world we do live in now.

I opened my fridge the other day and it was in complete darkness and silent....Oh Great!!!
Then later it started humming again so it just needed a new bulb.
£8.22 for the smallest lightbulb you have ever seen!
I shouldn't complain really though, a lot cheaper than a new fridge.

Things going bump in the house again. We get this periodically with the dog behaving oddly. Seems to go in phases. It's really pissing me off because things get flung around and go missing. Even my husband, a stalwart cynic, is getting rattled. I was sitting on my own last night and something started rustling across the room in one corner....a corner with nothing in it. Then something bangs in the adjoining room. Then the dog kicks off and starts cringing and practically sitting in my lap and I'm like...."Will you fucking stop!"

Your aura must be like catnip to assorted ectoplasmic entities! But I do enjoy reading your spooky stuff.

… and while I’m around, I’m gonna have a whinge too.
I’ve always appreciated Diggs and Syl’s hospitality, but one of the reasons I haven’t tried to join up here is that I honestly do have a problem typing up posts because the font is too small for me to see clearly - even with my specs on, it takes me ages to type and post something.
That of course could all be down to the fact that I type very slow and probably haven’t got a techy clue to know how dafuk to fix the problem!

Seriously, I had not read this before I started a thread asking why people prefer to guest post.
I can't believe we are that much in tune with each other... so it must just be coincidence.

Well then, that’s a bit spooky too I guess And I’ve only just seen your thread.
Honestly Syl, font size really is a problem for me. Reading posts isn’t so hard, cos I just zoom up to see better. But it’s hard to zoom when typing within a reply box. The cursor leaps about like its possessed and so it takes me friggin ages to finish a post. Like I said though, it’s probably because I’ve always been such a dumbfuk around tech stuff.

are you posting on a laptop? Often, when the mousepad is activated on a laptop the cursor can whizz around when you're typing because of the motion of the arms and wrist touching it - one of the reasons I use a wireless mouse with my laptop and not the integrated mousepad.

It's a very old house and stuff happens. Not all the time, only now and then but it can be quite active. The dog get super clingy and won't leave my side. Or he'll bark and wag his tail at a blank wall or space. Many a time you feel something get on the bed and think it's the dog, then you realise the dog is on the other side of the room. I used to have motion activated lights on my stairs but had to remove them as they kept going off and on all fecking night and it freaked my husband out.

Thanks Diggs, but nope - haven’t used a laptop in ages, just iPads. But I’ll try to figure it out.
That could take me a while though…….!

An iPad would drive me nuts to post on. I like the traditional keyboard on a laptop, but then I use Photoshop a lot and need a mouse for that.

What has irritated me today... Just had the most expensive coffee and cake in a little cafe...driest cake, hardly warm coffee, and I even had to clean the table myself before I could sit down. To top it all, the waitress had a face like a battered crab.
Customer service....where are you?

No, someone else was, though.
I prefer just not to tip, and to make sure I don't go back.

I bought a car poppy as my last one I had for about 5 yrs, broke off. I asked how much, she said £5. I was like how much, I expected £2 or £3. Fiver was abit steep. Trying to rip us off. What happened to give what you wanted or could afford.
Anyway I gave her £10, she said do you want the change. I said of course I do, I'm not giving it to you to pocket! I didn't like her when I first saw her. The other two looked embarrassed. I was really angry.
I don't mind what I give but don't try to make a mug of me 😠

They are over a fiver if you buy them from the official RBL Poppy shop Mags.
She had a nerve asking if you wanted the change. That's not the way anyone should collect for any charitable organisation...cheeky cow.

I've posted this before but still people think they have to wear a poppy!
Well yes people do because they're afraid of not fitting in.
They're afraid of standing out.
Ditch the bloody poppy and explain to people why.
Explain you'd rather help ex forces people.

I wear one because I want to, not because I am expected to....and thank God I don't need the likes of Davidson to give me advice.
