"An animal rights group has been accused of undermining real issues after asking a pub to change its name, claiming it is offensive to foxes. The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals group (Peta) wrote to owners of The Sly Old Fox on Hurst Street, Birmingham, saying the name was "derogatory". Instead, Elisa Allen from the campaign group asked them to consider swapping "sly" with "clever". https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cr5mym9l1e5o
What about the "Cock & Bull" or how about "The Cock Inn"?...offensive to cocks?
The things folks complain about, too much time on their hands.

Why has she had 21 abortion? Is she using this as a form of birth control or is she just simple minded?
Can't seen how she can be proud of murdering 21 babies!
Vile creature
She looks glaiket but that's no excuse.
She should have got sterilized or something instead of all those abortions.
She hasn't had 21 abortions! That t-shirt is on sale from many outlets online, it's worn as a protest statement.
Did you see the Tee-Shirts Amazon were flogging years ago?
Someone should have been jailed for putting them on the website.
I thought Dean was a pipe fitter not a t-shirt designer!

Substitute "her" for blacks / transgenders / immigrants and there'd be blood and snot in the dock. Nah, it's only females so no worries.

I hope so, he didn't sound hopeful when he made the announcement tonight though.
He has also had two knee and one hip replacements...amongst other issues.

All the greats from that era are getting old.
Yet so many of them are still performing, even touring.
Rod Stewart is headlining at Glastenbury next summer....hope he sounds better than he did at the Queens jubilee.

Hopefully he will have a good sound system, though remembering Shania Twains performance this year, it's doubtful.

Latest most popular babies' names in the UK.
Talking of music artists, "the ONS said on Thursday that pop culture continues to influence name choices, citing singers Billie Eilish and Lana Del Rey, the Kardashian-Jenner family's children Reign and Saint, and film stars Margot Robbie and Cillian Murphy.
Other music artist names Miley, Rihanna, Kendrick and Elton also saw an increase in 2023. That was likely due to album releases, touring, or high-profile performances by Miley Cyrus, Kendrick Lamar, Elton John, and Rihanna, the ONS said."
Traditionalists might be squirming at this trend, although they might be reassured that the most popular boy's name last year was Mohammed, a very traditional name...

It's the anniversary of the Lockerbie Disaster today.
36 years since Pan Am Flight 103 blew up over the borders town killing all 259 on board and 11 towns folk.
A man goes on trial in May 2025 in America over the Atrocity.
The plane wreckage has been sent over by Scotland to help in the court case.

No Digs, the man going on trial is the one they say made the bomb.
