So I volunteered for the Russian Vaccine Trial for Covid-19, here in Manchester ,It's been kept very quiet for security reasons. I received my first shot and wanted to let you know that it’s completely safe with иo side effects whatsoeveя, and that I feelshκι χoρoshό я чувствую себя немного странно и я думаю, что вытащил ослиные уши.
You will be wearing a cossack and a sarafan next.
Not to mention the hairy armpits!
Actually, I think quite a lot of us have been a bit remiss in the shaving of the armpits this summer....not to mention the bikini line, what's the point when no one is going out much or on holiday?

Do you feel the worse is over or are you fearing a second wave of Covid 19?
Well in answer to the OP I think that's now been answered.
Christmas is cancelled.

Yeah, 6178 cases in the last 24 hours, the death rate is still low (37) but that will change in the coming weeks I expect as the virus takes time to kill people.

6,000 now is different to 6,000 in March and April. Up until around mid-April Tests a day weren't above 10,000.
Now on many days daily test figures are around 215,000 mark on average. I don't know what a like-for-like figure would be but it will be quite a bit higher than 6,000.
You know me I like a bit of perspective. lol I bet the BEEB or Sky won't take this into account.

Well the man can't be in 67 million places at once. Guiding us all every step of the way through our days.
I'm watching the East of England, South East and South West on the gov/phe data website. If they go out of hand. And figures start spiraling. Then I will become more worried that the virus is going crazy generally across the whole Country.

My area has had spiraling figures for a while, and tbh every time I go out I can see why.
So many not wearing masks, even more not knowing what 1 metre is never mind 2, many shops not offering contactless credit card machines, one or two even only accepting cash....(who carries cash around now?)

If there just happens to be more people in some areas not doing the right things. What do we do.
The fines are there and getting higher. Will that help. If not what next. It's tough.
The problem with this thing is that no Country on the planet has enough Police to make sure everyone is doing the right things to help us all.
Some people aren't too worried about this because it's not guaranteed death. That's selfish though. And not looking at the whole picture.
This situation is worse than war in some ways. Bombs coming down gets basically everyone thinking they will definitely die if a large bomb comes down on their house.

I don't know the answer JP, because when we are all reliant on other people doing the right thing, there is nothing others can do....other than stand by helplessly, say something to them. or report them.
Reporting is futile ...it makes enemies out of neighbours, what's the point of that?
Saying something face to face sometimes works, I have told a couple of people to give me space when they have been nudging my back in a queue.....when the spaces are clearly marked out they are either stupid or just bloody ignorant, so they deserve to be told.
Most times I, and I imagine the vast majority of people, just say nothing, and wonder why so many think they are above the regulations.

Reporting may well cause issues. But clearly no Country anywhere in the World has enough Police to do it all themselves. Police during their every day job obviously rely on reporting to a certain extent anyway. But yep, neighbours, that's obviously very close to home. No great answers to be had. During this whole thing there never really has been any great solutions to be found anyway. Not until the obvious come along great vaccines and threapeutics. Until then its more about hoping that enough people do the right things day in day out.

Do you never wonder why every single Dr, nurse, scientist, professor, journalist who has a different opinion is demonised and has their career trashed? How suddenly they go from being leaders in their field to disgraced as soon as they don't toe the line?
Has no one here thought hold on a moment this just does not add up? How can you not see what the media and government are telling you is completely different from what you yourself are experiencing?
This is what we are doing to our elderly, we are not saving them, its genocide with the public compliance.

my neighbour has only been able to see her mum once since lockdown and that was through a window, why is no one questioning this nonsense. What's the point of living if you are not allowed to live?
I know two people who have committed suicide and I know 5 people who have suffered huge medical problems due to COVID restrictions but don't know anyone who had COVID and I know many people who have said the same. I'm not saying it's not real I'm saying its been a huge overreaction, My knowledge of viruses and how we ( as a human collective) dealt with them were pretty much how Delorise says in that video.

It is tragic the way the old and ill who are in residential care homes have been deprived of family visits, but I think because they are so vulnerable, and because they were treated so badly at the onset of the pandemic, the safety measures have now gone over the top.
It's true that the facts and figures we are fed could be manipulated, though I really don't see what could be gained for pretending this virus is worse than it really is...it's an infectious virus that may lead to sever complications and death for thousands of people every week, with no known cure, and if people don't follow simple hygiene and social distancing rules it spreads.
I know one person who has died and several people who have been infected and recovered. The person who died was in his 40's with existing medical condition, the ones who recovered were younger and fit. I don't know anyone who has committed suicide. AS for mental health....who knows, something like this can have long reaching effects.

With your knowledge of viruses do you agree with her then when at 11:00 she reports that 'coronaviruses are not infectious diseases'? That's as far as I got before switching her off.

You’re quoting from The Sun like it’s gospel ?? Haha haha !!!!!!
And it’s sons, not son’s.
