It's been getting darker around 5pm lately....what a miserable summer it's been.
It doesn't really even do that in the winter here.
That's one of the depressing things about the northern part of our country. It's dark by 5 in the winter..
Of course parts of Alaska have almost 24 hours of darkness a few weeks of the year..

It's depressing, I hate winters here, dark from about 3.30 4pm in the winter....some days it gloom from morning till night.
We have been hearing of the hurricane heading to Florida...sounds bad.
I forget how far north you are.
Look on the bright side. Sweden has short days with colder temps..

Yeah, Sweden isn't for people who love the warmth.
We still have the quaint old tradition of altering the clocks...so come October, we move the clocks back an hour...if we didn't do that it'd be lighter in the afternoons, but pitch black in the mornings.

Oh! I’m afraid there comes a time in every lady’s life when upper arms and legs need to be covered!

But if Anon is self conscious of it's body, who are we to judge?

You are very conscious of how other women look, aren't you...do you have self-esteem issues yourself?
If you want to discuss your own hang-ups we will be very willing to help you.

I just think we all need to grow old gracefully Syl, especially us ladies. It seems people have forgotten how to do that and it’s a great shame in my opinion !

Being gracious includes the way you act, not only what you wear.

Why grow old gracefully. Live a life freely and how you want to. No one else's business.

It's part sunny part cloudy here, but it's warm, and the good weather is set to last for a few days at least..
So Summer started off beautifully in this part of the world, then it disappeared for 2 months, but hopefully we will get a good September.

Kids are back in school next week. It's Sods law that the weather will turn warm again.
Been nice here too...around 20c, but in the sun it was warm.
