I'm no where near the coast, but the Texans down south are waiting for Beryl to show up.
BTW, is Beryl a male or female name? I've never met a Beryl so I don't know. Sounds sorta British to me..🤷♂️

Beryl is an old fashioned female name in the UK....no doubt it'll come back into fashion one day.

Well, it's not going to be a popular name on the Texas coast for the next few days.

I went to school with a Beryl...she was adopted, I remember going to a lovely birthday party at her house once.
Anyway....the weather. It's seriously depressing me. Not only did we have no spring, we have had no summer yet, and we are almost into the 2nd week of July.

Tell your husband to bring you to Texas next month..
You'll get your fill of the heat and it will carry you about half way to Christmas.
You might even experience a hurricane with a funny name. 😁

I am sick of going away just to find some sunshine.
I want to be in my own home, eat my own food, and sit in my own garden with the sun on my face....surely that's not too much to ask for.

Like you, I love my garden, but it rains all the time. Mind you the plants are growing beautifully!

Beryl is sitting on top of my oldest's house in Houston (made landfall as a cat 1 so it's weak) and preparing to cruise up the Trinity River to come visit me.
My dad's youngest brother down in England, spent two hours carefully watering all his garden plants before he went on holiday.
Got in Sat down to a nice cup of tea and it was pissing it down.
😟
Lol that's about right. 🙄
I have never seen 7 days of temperatures this cool, in July, in my life..
