The shock of Diana’s death also sparked countless conspiracy theories. Decades later, many have not given up the idea that Diana may have been the victim of a plot.
Unexpected events, such as deaths or accidents, are fertile breeding ground for conspiracy theories, which allow people to make sense of chaos by finding evidence, coincidences and someone to blame.
Celebrity deaths have inspired an entire genre of conspiracy theories, particularly the death of Princess Diana. While conspiracy theories about Diana’s death may hinge on different, specific details about the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash, many reach the same conclusion – that she was murdered by the royal family or the British authorities.
I study conspiracy theories to find out why people believe in them. One of the questions I ask is about the language of celebrity death conspiracy theories, and why it is so persuasive.
Conspiracy theories are empowering for people, allowing them to become DIY detectives. These “detectives” approach a case having already arrived at their conclusion. In celebrity deaths, this usually means murder by someone who seemingly benefits from the death.
Calling a conspiracy theory a conspiracy theory is exactly what you should call a conspiracy theory.
I am not denying the term, I am saying it's often used in a way to shut people up, like the word racist is.
Incidentally, have you not argued about the official verdict on JFK's death?
I think the Mafia may have known what Oswald was up to, but I don't think Oswald was working with anyone and he alone took those shots. He was a better than average rifleman in the Marine Corps.
Adding a second shooter would be a dumb idea in very crowded area, especially when Oswald was pretty much guaranteed to get the job done.
That's assuming the shooting was a conspiracy, which I don't believe anyway.

Oswald never shot Kennedy. One shot was from behind, hit his throat,, then he was hit from the front into his head which blew his brains out. I
How could Oswald hit him from the back and front at the same time. Oswald was seen in the rest room drinking coke by workers when JFK was shot, then a cop who went into the building. Can't be in two places at once.
This is a conspiracy. I believe by Pres.Johnson and CIA. Mafia hit men could have shot.him, I don't know, but there was at least three shooters that day.

No the one in the brain came from the side/front. Look it.up.

I had already looked it up. The autopsy found he was hit twice from behind, concurred by both a medical panel review and the Warren Commission report.
Where did you read that it happened differently?

Maybe there were 33 shooters and a partridge in a pear tree..

So the bullet went round Kennedy and struck him in the head. So you believe in the magic bullet.

No, I believe the autopsy report.
"The autopsy report describes two gunshot wounds to President Kennedy: one in the upper back and one in the back of the head. The back wound was located 2 inches to the right of the spine and measured 4mm by 7mm."

The one from the side or front blew the back of his head off. That was the bullet exiting the brain. If it came from the back.it would have exited out.of his forehead or near abouts.
His head went backwards when he was hit. If hit from the back, his head would have gone forwards.

I'm going with the autopsy report which is quite clear.
Have you ever shot anything in the head?.

The fatal bullet hit him in the external occipital protuberance, i.e the back of the skull that's the one that blew the side of his head off. The other bullet hit him just above the shoulder blade and exited through his throat.
It was horrendous to see Jackie Kennedy crawl to the back of the limo to pick part of his brain up. It was said she had no recollection of doing that.

Looking at the film of Kennedy, there's no way it came from the back.
I don't believe the autopsy report.

When you watch the footage it does look as though the second bullet hits the side of his head. But it's an exit wound. Bullets don't always follow a straight trajectory. People have been shot in the chest and it's bounced off and exited from some weird place like the knee! But I do believe that if you want someone dead, you don't trust your luck to just one shooter. You give yourself multiple chances to take them out or make it impossible for them to survive. But perhaps we'll never know.

There was a man who said.he shot.him from the grassy knoll. His name is James. E. Files or James Sutton. He has written books, it's so mind blowing. He knows so much.
I just really think Oswald was, as he said, a patsy.
I think there was.more than one shooter. One bullet bounced off the road and clipped a man watching the President, they found another in the road, obviously missed.
I really think.it was a conspiracy to kill him, so Johnson could take.over. He wanted to carry on the war in Vietnam, Kennedy was going to pull the troops out. I do feel Mafia was included aswell. Obviously I can't prove.it. There's lots.of.books.out there, that reveal far.more than I'm saying.

And when someone is shot in the back of the head with a velocity round and "matter" gets blown out the front, the "jet effect" combined with a violent muscle reaction will make the head snap back towards the direction of the bullets entrance..

One man saw and heard someone shooting out of a crowd that was in the thousands.
Have you ever been around a weapon being discharged?
You don't think all those Texans there, wouldn't know that there was some damn fool shooting within yards of them?

When someone firmly believes in a conspiracy theory, but the facts contradict the theory, it's easier to say the facts are wrong than it is to let go of the theory.
