America seems to have two national sports... football that would be better called handball and rounders.
Used to play rounders at break time at school and British bulldogs.
Good times back then, I wonder if children today are allowed or if killjoys have stopped them.
I think rounders is ok, but they won't allow British bulldog. Made right wimps of kids now!
Wrapped up in cotton wool some of them.
I saw some teenagers getting driven to school the other week and they live just round the corner from the school.
It's not even a minutes walk.
When I was at High school, I had quite a little jaunt there and back each day.
In the Pissing rain and everything!!
Exactly V, making them lazy. No one plays out anymore, no games in schools, not even conkers incase it hurts their dear fingers.
Kids not allowed to be kids anymore.
Not at all like that here!
Parks woodlands gyms football pitches tennis courts streets all very busy with young people.
Youngsters around here are going to be working farms quarries forestry saw mills fishing boats and now windfarm boats driving heavy machinery and so on few will be sat growing fat arses in offices or on the rock n roll.
Brilliant Jack, good for them

Poor little baby.
What an old slapper she is!
Divided on this. She’s no worse than the blokes who queued up to do her. As long as it was safe sex throughout with those desperate blokes then that’s fine by me. If she’s in a loving relationship and it’s her partner’s kid who will be a supportive father again that’s fine by me. She seems to have the finances so hopefully she won’t be sponging off the state. Chavvy way to earn money but she’s not breaking any laws, not sponging/fiddling benefits etc. Her mother is the one that disgusted me most, no more than a pimp.
if this had been a bloke hitting the media re sleeping with a thousand women in one night he’d no doubt be getting ass-pats. Times haven’t really changed…females sleep around = drippers, males who sleep around = studs.
The baby is the only innocent in all this. His/her schoolmates are going to be asking a lot of questions, poor soul. The internet never forgets.
I watched a video where she and her mother were being interviewed.
Her mother came across as being a bit simple minded. When asked if/when her porn star daughter had children, would she think it right when they saw footage of their mother being gang banged etc...she nonchalantly replied 'they would get over it'. When asked what benefits she had from her daughter's lucrative 'career', she replied, I get nice holidays.

Just a word of caution, better to be safe than sorry.
A lot of chancers going round my area trying doors to try and gain entry to houses.
Just make sure you all keep your doors secure.

Jonathan Hall KC, Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation said in the programme, we could have been told about the Al-Qaeda manual and the Ricin this bastard had in his possession as soon as the police found out about it and it wouldn't have prejudiced the trial.
Oh and as for his parents..
He had a machete and other huge knives in his bedroom lying around, not stashed away or anything and they didn't raise the roof, ask him what the hell was going on, confiscate them?
They should be locked up as well.

I agree. He is a terrorist, but dictator Starmer covered for him, why?
He was a quiet Welsh boy, yeah ok!
Disgusting!

Attacking the young, old, vulnerable, these people are unbelievable cowards.
On the radio this morning, a 71 year old woman living locally. Three masked men broke into her home in broad daylight, they held a knife to her throat and demanded to know where the money and drugs were??
She had none, she was a poor widow living alone since her husband died.
She was sobbing, saying she had never been so petrified in all her life.
These bastards have ruined what is left of her life.

What heroes eh. Poor lady. I wonder if this will be fully investigated at all.
“he’s a good boy really…he’s had a tough childhood…he’s got autism/ADHD/PTSD/insert latest med fad…never been in trouble before…”will be rolled out.
I had a bloke visit earlier than expected recently regarding a new front door, I asked for his credentials etc and let him in, he went about measuring up etc. I stood a fair way back watching him and for some reason felt completely uneasy and frozen to the spot. I looked around the hallway and the only “defence weapon” I had to hand was my mug of tea that i’d put down to one side to answer the door. The thought of a 6footer battling towards me and me simply armed with an old mug of lukewarm tea made me realise just how vulnerable I was even in my own home. I can only imagine the terror this poor lady must have felt.
I know the old days had its fair share of crime but I can remember a time when our front doors were left unlocked during the day and burglaries were so rare where I lived that you were considered some sort of local celeb, for want of a better description, if your home got robbed.

How awful to feel unsafe in your own home. The man who measured up your door was just a workman doing his job, but for whatever reason, he made you feel frightened, that's the state of the society we live in today.
Many people hardly know their neighbours, unlike in the older days, where everyone knew everyone else, and everyone kept an eye out for other peoples kids.
Another person on the radio this morning, it was concentrating on home break ins, after the lady from Oldham had been in the news.
A man came on and said his mother had been in sheltered accommodation. She had been broken in three times. She was eventually found dead in her home, after suffering a sudden heart attack. He said when they found her, her door once more been prized open, presumably by yet another burglar, and it was thought the lady had died of fright.
Tragic, but why the hell didn't her family make her home safe?

We were broken into one night. I heard them and got up, they left.
We had a an alarm put it. Took a long time until I felt safe at home at night.

It must be really scary.
When we moved here (decades ago) my OH worked nights, so it was just me and young son at night.
I had a hammer on top of the wardrobe in the event of someone breaking in, it was quite desolate at night round here back then.
I would have been prepared to use it too....luckily (so far) we have been unbothered by cowardly arseholes.

It was obviously me putting the fear of God into myself as he was pleasant enough etc but having my only exit blocked, ie the front door, un-nerved me. Silly I know as I’m usually more level-headed than that day.
So sad about the lady in sheltered accommodation, I’m afraid I would have done my best to have had her living somewhere safer but easy for me to say when I don’t know the families full circumstances. Luckily, my dad was safety conscious, we used to joke about how long it took him to unlock his front and back doors and we felt doubly reassured he had his wits about him. I did worry about him generally though as I think most do when their parents age. It’s the elderly that have no family and/pr friends around them that sadden me the most.
it sickens me hearing about old people getting attacked/robbed. Gone are the days when elders were generally respected and kept an eye on. I was watching a Paul O’Grady video earlier on and it was about the UK working class and featured areas I knew well from when I was a kid. He went on to talk about how people used to look out for one another and respected the likes of the police (even bus conductors)…the video made me nostalgic, in some ways, for earlier times. I wonder what the youth of today will look back on and miss when they get older.

“ An Australian couple have spoken of the "traumatic" moment the body of a dead passenger was placed next to them on a Qatar Airways flight.
Mitchell Ring and Jennifer Colin, who were travelling to Venice for a dream holiday, told Australia's Channel 9 a woman had died in the aisle beside them during the flight from Melbourne to Doha.
The couple say cabin crew placed her corpse, covered in blankets, next to Mr Ring for the remaining four hours of the flight without offering to move him, despite there being empty seats.” https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cz03l18jv97o
Don’t know why the bloke didn’t demand to be moved to an empty seat.

Or leaving them alone..........
This case is probably one where an elderly person should no longer be left to live alone because he's a threat to himself and others.
As for the bell curve, rights apply to people on both sides of it..
They now think it's a publicity stunt Mags.
I hope so, she needs help.
She needs more than help, maybe a new one?
