It was dying but more and more toward the end it was suffocated by giving free reign to the Irish special needs guy and the onslaught of extremist wokest leftism and everything outside of that was unacceptable uncaring unintelligent. Only extreme leftists wokeism could possibly be the way. That was the dumbest final nail. When I think of the extremes of dogs it doesn't surprise me that the woke agendas as presented by Stoo and Cactus finally suffocated it. Along of course with the nasty Hobbit and the very public attacks and putdowns of Holly. Somehow they imagined themselves as some kind of elitists looking down on the Hoi polloi. Political discourse is a good thing, especially given current world events. But on a platform like Dogs, folks needed a little light relief from all the doom-scrolling through endless political BS.
Gabby and some others did their best to lighten the mood from time to tim, but nothing really gained any traction. There’s a wealth of alternative and thriving social media platforms out there in which folks can find a ‘home’ online, so the Dogs people gradually chose to go elsewhere.
And when the Cactus freak took his OCD attention-whoring from the News section onto the main board, it was only ever gonna be a question of WHEN, not IF…

The only posters we do mod are the Anons, and tbh, unless they are law breaking, too personal or just plain dribble, most of their posts get through too.
