This is a great little place to post….away from the frenetic - often batshit - pace of most massive social media platforms.
I much prefer smaller forums / communities than big SM platforms myself. I read stuff on Twitter but have never felt the urge to post. It's more like attention seeking than having an actual discussion.
Much nicer vibe in a place like this.
So do I :nods: I have never been one for Facebook or other social.media platforms. Digital Spy was an.. experience I just like to talk about ideas and debate and forums may seem old fashioned to some but I like the vibe of them too.
I was on DS for years and liked many of the posters. Closing “General Discussion“ and the eventual erratic moderation put the lid on it for me.

They closed General Discussion? That wasn't wise , a lot of people posted there. That was where all the gossiping went on and cliques were formed from what I remember, it was a bit like Dogs with a more respectable veneer.
The mods were mad and definitely played favourites. It was great to chat about Big Brother back in the day although some fans of housemates got a little..heated.
I used to like Wonkey Donkey although she tended to write essays , when she wanted to put someone in their place she did it in detail with admirable punctuation!
