Short version of the song but at last poor Sonny got credit here - about time because at his peak he may well have been the 2nd greatest heavyweight (behind Ali) of all time but certainly in the top 6 at the very least.
Ali would have won but by decision by around around 9-6 in rounds with the the '58 version of Liston who simply destroyed top contenders for years (he walked through the hardest puncher of the '50s like they were a small girl and I am talking about Cleveland Williams) as he was avoided by Patterson's manager for many years but George Foreman (the most brutal puncher ever to live) hit him with his best shot in sparring - his reaction 'no son'- that says it all.
Does that sound like a bloke who would truly fall in 60 seconds?
