. When I was in Texas, it was so hot and humid. At least everywhere had a.c.

Woke up this morning to find all our vehicles covered in red sand... presumably Saharan.
Today topped out at 30 with a solid concrete sky all day.

Same here...though I blamed all the building work being carried out next door, till we drove out and noticed every other car on the roads had red dust on it.

We had a lot of dust, I wondered where it came from.

Everywhere but outside.
People's ability to function outside becomes compromised when the outside air is above our body temperature.
That's why we don't have nearly as many issues at 98 as we do at 108 (which it will be today)..
When it goes from 88 to 98, we notice it, but we still do most outside activities without too much trouble or danger. When it gets above 98 amd especially 10 degrees above that, your body really can't regulate well if your are doing anything that required exertion..

For the first time in about 2 months it's raining at my house. I think I see people dancing in their underwear out in the streets.
Just in the nick of time. Dallas had some rolling blackouts today because the grid finally broke at 111 damn degrees..
Tomorrow we will be fine. And next week is even more rain. Everything from the plants, trees, squirrels, birds and humans needed this.
Very warm in Bonnie Scotland yesterday and more of the same today.
It's most odd but I have freckles all down my right leg but none on the left leg.
Anyway
Another gorgeous day here too. Went to a fairly local beauty spot, Hollingworth Lake, had lunch here, sat in the sunshine.
I've got thousands of freckles on my arms, I've now got freckles on my freckles!!
😂
Better get the coal in.
Very warm here again, no jaicket needed.
Or quilt for that matter!!
The end is near.
I switched the units to Celsius or Commie or whatever..
