Really nice blue sky warm sunny day on the coast.
Soon as the temperature goes up and the sun is shining bright the tourists appear as if by magic!
Thousands of them are ensconced in hotels and caravans just waiting for the rain to stop!
My plant are too. Also my Lavender plants are big gorgeous now

Lovely plants.
I have just bought an olive tree, I have wanted one for ages, I know it's a bit risky trying to grow a Mediterranean plant in Manchester....but I am going to give it a good go.

Yes do Syl, what you got to lose.
Been raining hard all day. Put up brolly, it collapsed down on my head, I had to laugh even though I got wet

Apparently Beryl was stronger than I thought.
It just glanced off of us and gave us a little much needed rain..
My oldest and my granddaughter haven't had power since yesterday morning. Yesterday was fine because it was cool .
Today it's going to be a steamy swamp down there.

I've just got home having driven in the
worst driving conditions I've seen in years!
Rain by the tons hammering down from the black sky above.

Has hurricane Beryl made it to Wales already?

They don't like frost or soggy soil. Same with citrus which are heavy feeders, like dry soil and then being saturated and won't tolerate frost. I put mine in the greenhouse over winter.

I don't have a greenhouse, but if we have a hard frost I will put it in the garage, it has windows at the back.
I tried growing bougainvillea a few years ago...managed to keep it alive for 4 years, then it died.

Heating on yesterday.
Lovely when I was out at the shops though but had to change into warmer claes when I came back.
Raincoat on at night to put the rubbish out.
😕

Had rain all week. Dry and cloudy now, going to do washing. Hopefully no rain so it dries. 😏

I am giving up on getting any summer here this year.
Gloom, doom and rain every day.
14c and cloudy with rain now....yesterday it was 11c in the afternoon...more like late Autumn.

It's been nice, warm and sunny this morning, mostly cloudy afternoon...but plenty warm enough to eat out.
Thursday and Friday are forecast to be lovely....so best make the most of it, all of us in the UK.
