I take the dog out every day. Not had a proper day out since the lock down. Missing restaurants and the big outdoors.
I'm pretty sure there were dogs all over my city that got walked more in two weeks than they did their entire lives. People were taking them on multiple walks a day to get outside.
I bet pet stores sold out of leashes because it was obvious there was also a whole crop of dogs that were getting walked for the first time in years, or in their lives.
I'd ride by these new walkers and it looked like a fucking rodeo with these folks trying to control their dogs.
Saw two teenage girls walking their Pits and could tell they had about zero control over their dogs. Made a turn before I found out. Being chased by Pit Bulls isn't really fun anymore. I'm getting too old.

Well my holiday has been and gone now, and I know yours has too. On the bright side we did get good weather here, and the sun is set to make a comeback next week.

Yep...though the road trip round the coastal areas of England and Wales we had planned for summer will be next for us, not this year though.

I have seen loads of dog walkers that I’ve never seen before.
I stay away from the parks just walk the local streets near my abode. But there is definitely an increase of dog walkers.

Yes, our cycling and walking paths are a cluster fuck. I usually avoid them anyway and ride in traffic. It's safer. 😉

Yes I have been walking in the road to avoid others. They never think to cross the road.

A big rise in deaths in France today, over five times that of yesterday, seems to be mostly in the care homes and I just hope it is not the early signs of the Lockdown there being relaxed too soon.
On another note I can't believe they are going back to filming Soaps here shortly.
WTF?
Talk about priorities.

Mostly care homes. Yes. In time other Countries will be more transparent like we now are. It must kinda piss the UK authorities off now, knowing many Countries haven't yet added any/or all deaths that occurred in care homes and other settings.
I have a feeling there will be lots of adding to the figures to come from many Countries as time passes. Of course some Countries will never be completely honest though.
Interesting how many people France still has in Hospital compared to our 10,053. Nearly double what we have. I don't think the UK is doing as bad as it may seem right now. Things will even out in time, we may even fall down the 'deaths' list a place or two. Especially when you do per capita, and all cause excess death comparisons later down the line.
