Erectile dysfunction is still pretty taboo, I doubt men bring it up over a pint in the pub, but if say Pele speaks about it on TV, it'll encourage other men to do something about it.
Obviously commercials are there to encourage people to buy, but then so are supermarkets.

Yes women do talk now, and because these subjects are out in the open, (and the ads have helped) there is no stigma left...but it was very different a couple of generations ago (pre ads)
There have been ads giving info about VD and Aids, haven't seen any yet for genital warts, but if they do make any I really hope they don't air them at teatime.

Yesterday I waited 2 metres behind a woman who was disinfecting her basket, my turn came I was disinfecting mine, some idiot women appeared and stood right behind me in her haste to get to the anti bacterial spray.
Why bother following one precaution when you flout the other?

Spain. 238. today. Population 21 million less than us of course.
Italy. 353. 6 million lower population than us.
Germany 149. That's high for them. Pretty sure there all time high was around 250.
Infection rates are interesting. Italy and Spain have risen quickly over very recent times. Italy especially. Now have a higher figure than we've ever had. 28,000. 26,000 is our current peak. France have of course been up to 52,000. Some say that our infection figures are beginning to stabilize. Let's hope so.
ICU numbers are a tad surprising.

France, Spain, Italy, UK. All seem to be getting hit about equally AGAIN. Although the difference in this wave is that Germany are looking like they could be affected worse for them this time around. More overall death. Higher death rates. And more overall infections.

Actually the above kinda puts to bed the thoughts that the UK apparently had some time to learn from Italy the first time around.
This time all Countries have had time! And, for many it doesn't seem to make too much difference. It's still the same/similar outcomes. This virus clearly for whatever reasons finds much of Europe easy pickings.

I'd say no to that. It makes some difference for sure. If we are to take all statistics given out by Countries at face value.
Being free and wild strongly independent minded. Not afraid to question the authorities rules. And to do as you please regardless. Clearly the virus loves that.

She's done really well I'd agree. But New Zealand is very different though in terms of population size. And population density. Compared to much of Europe. That does come into it some.

This virus literally thrives in socialability, the closer people get together the more it thrives.
We have been told for months to limit the people we get close to and to distance from everyone else.
The countries who refuse to do that seem to be the ones where the virus is surging again.
