Had my jab today.....sore arm. So far, so good. I think I might be out of it over the next couple of days though. Pfizer.
Did you have any after effects?
I had Pfizer, no side effects.
I think the side effects have been exaggerated in the press. If there are any side effects (for the vast majority) they are minimal, the same as you may get after the flu jab.
Like I say, I got the shivers that night, felt fine thereafter, everyone I have spoken too has had no side effects at all.

Day three and I'm still fine. No side effects at all.

I might get a table dance from a stripper.
But in reality, there isn't really anything I cant do that I really want to. I can travel if I want to.
I just want normalcy. I want to shake a hand or give a hug and it not be "awkward".
I want to see live music in a crowded venue.
I want to see people worry less about losing businesses or making ends meet.
I'd like to throw all my fucking masks away and wear bandanas for a sweaty July day and not to walk into a restaurant.

A bandana, a face mask and sunglasses....you could rob a bank and never be identified.

It's been happening.
I've seen surveillance videos of places being robbed by mask wearing people.
A lot of good that video does.
I guess that's why every bank that I know of doesn't allow customers in side without appointments. Masks and banks don't go well together.

I dont think I have been in my bank for over a year, everything is done online now.
I bet most people haven't actually handled cash for ages.

I have got so many messages about that and I have not got a fucking clue about all the online stuff they keep sending me (not that I have any money at all sadly).

Online banking does make life easier JD, I have had it for years, it beats queueing up at the bank in town....and so many banks have closed anyway.

I still get paid in checks. I like going to the bank and visiting with folks. Now it's all done in the drive through. I pay all my bills on line though.

Do people still write checks out? I always loved actual cash, but now it's C/C or D/C for everything.

Yeah, for a lot of services they still do. I'm in real estate and I don't have a way to take a credit card. A lot of folks don't have apps like Venmo, or they don't trust them.
I don't write checks myself anymore.

Cheques can bounce though, If I was in business I would be wary of accepting them.
The good old days when cash was king have long gone. People (even before Covid) turn their noses up at ready cash nowadays, especially for large amounts.

I still take cash and folks will pay me that way.

Yep, in business cash has always had advantages.
