I agree with all that, one of the very reasons I never let a man buy me a drink when I was out with friends. Some men have always thought that once a drink, or God forbid a meal has been paid for, the woman is in debt.
Women are now openly protesting that they are even afraid to go outside at night or walk in isolated places at any time because of the fear they will be attacked. They want the same rights as men do, to feel safe from sexual predators when they are out.
To be honest, men have to run the gauntlet of being attacked in different ways. I was out one night with a boyfriend at the Castlefield locks and completely out of the blue, some guy aimed a punch at him. Totally unprovoked, random attack. He didn't know the guy and never even looked at him. Luckily the punch missed and because he was with me, he let it go. Had he been alone, I'm sure a full blown punch up would have ensued. Girls get sexually attacked. Boys get beaten up. Horrible.
Obviously the murder of Sarah Everard, a woman who was simply walking home from a friends house at 9pm, who's unrecognisable body has ended up in a bag in woodland, has prompted this outcry.
Women simply want what they have always been denied, the right to be out and about without fear of sexual attack from men
Yes, men get beaten up, my son was beaten up once by a gang of thugs....they get beaten up by men not women, and it's the women who are now saying....enough is enough.

As far as I know...and I am sure I would know, no one has pestered anyone (in this forum) via pm and then turned nasty if they have been rejected. Humour is subjective The Carry on, Benny Hill type of humour is not very pc, but imo it's harmless.
On a couple of occasions , one very recently, a degrading photo has been removed, and I agree 100% about the sexist language aimed at women.
One man calls a woman a bitch and far worse, and others reading it can be influenced. In my world it's not acceptable, but on a forum, any forum, unless free speech is clamped down on, it is.
It's not harmless though. There is a reason its no longer used on TV or films. it puts women in an uncomfortable position, the men who do it all the time are the same men who tell women they are humourless bitches when they object or don't laugh.

It could do, it's certainly aroused a lot of passion and suppressed anger.

Disregarding what anon guest hiding behind a proxy has said.....You and others on other forums do use sexually degrading language towards some women (and you know my feelings about it because I have told you several times)
My point about this is, speaking about women like that can have a knock on effect to disrespect women and it then perpetuates the belief that women are somehow lesser,
We then get situations where, as has been said....every woman can tell of the times they have been sexually degraded, abused, groped etc etc.
If women are ever to feel safe in situations where men take for granted they are safe....it has to start from the bottom and work it's way up.
