My mum used to make these every Xmas. When we were kids we loved them and ate them by the jar load.

Oh dear, my devastating wit, kindness, never ending surprises, exhausting sexual satisfaction and (most importantly) a bag of cheese and onion crisps!

Hi Vic … they’re ace aren’t they … I made similar recently but plain sponge and butter icing, edible eyes and cherries the same….but piped melted chocolate in the shape of antlers (looked more like tree branches tbf ) on grease proof paper and left to set in fridge… they didn’t last long once done!
Hi Gabs!!
I threw my pipping bag out in bad temper because i couldn't get the icing to come out properly, it said on the instructions to cut a wee bit off to fit the nozzle, so i did and it all came out the sides.
I've made a Christmas Cake as well. it looks fine...how it tastes might be a different story.
