Maybe she left her earrings in, and they hurt her ears when she lies down.
Those earrings are a lot of balls!
Tennis balls?

Seems he is being caught out in quite a few misdeeds and lies now.
Maybe he should have just got the first plane home, all this won't be good for his career.

That's what I would have done..
Why lie?
Tell the Aussies to go pound sand.

Quite frankly fuck him.
He has hundreds of morons still crying for him - it's sickening.

He could have left with his dignity intact...and still been the best player on earth.
This may overshadow his playing, because he has actually now been caught out in fibbing and flouting the law....not good for anyone's public reputation.

The GOAT often have flaws, Ali was an arsehole early on, Black Muslims and all, Robinson was a disgusting wife beater and is still (for some reason over Harry Greb) revered as the pound for pound GOAT etc. Novak could grow up but I doubt it now.

Exactly. He could have just said I don't need to defend my title of the Australian Nazi Open and put them on blast. Then posted pictures of himself on the beach in Spain resting up for the next Grand Slam event.

He may very well be the best tennis player of all time but is also an anti-vaxxer idiot who should have to follow the rules like everyone else.
He is not a 'victim' and he can leave whenever he likes.
I wonder if Wimbledon will let him in?

I don't - money talks here more than anywhere else except America. :(

Why wouldn't we let him in?
I don't think we are blocking anyone right now.
What would be the point? The virus is here already and over 100 million of us have had it by now.

Some countries are needing proof of vaccination, maybe they don't want people falling seriously ill, or worse dying with Covid on their shores.
Medical evidence here shows that the unvaccinated have more chance of needing hospital care with Covid than the vaccinated.

I think he will be be fine. This is just getting punitive now.
Get vaccinated and catch a mild case, or don't and catch a more serious case. That's the reality of where we are.
Most countries are just letting things roll at this point. Its time to live with covid and that means living with the unvaccinated.
We have disrupted the planet enough. We have sacrificed enough freedoms. Authoritarianism is on the rise under the guise of safety, as it usually is.

We have disrupted the planet enough. We have sacrificed enough freedoms. Authoritarianism is on the rise under the guise of safety, as it usually is.
I do see your point. I think it's a bit unhealthy the way people are now fighting against each other as well as trying to ward off the virus.
In a perfect world, everyone would have access to all vaccinations that saved lives, and everyone would accept them.
We dont live in a perfect world though.
Just to digress a sec, in the papers here it said Meatloaf died of Covid, and he had previously publicly spoken out against the vaccine, so obviously he was unvaccinated.

He spoke out about restrictions, many vaccinated have spoken out against restrictions/ passports etc as he hated the segregation of his fans. (Something Adel is now regretting)
Meatloaf had many health problems including his heart. He was in the hospital for a couple of months before Christmas he was also hugely overweight.

He made a choice as an overweight 70 year old.
Heck, being overweight was a bit of a choice and is obviously unhealthy.
We are at the point where governments are flexing and insisting people respect their authority, simply because it's what they do. It's time for us to tell them to back off. We have the information to keep us safe ish and we will decide how to implement it. Like all of our health choices, be they good or bad.
Governments around the world are looking like power tripping assholes much like an American cop that insists people do exactly what they say because of their "position".

He was definitely very overweight all his life, the last few years he looked to have lost some, but you don't carry all that weight around all your life without it having some health hazards.
Our restrictions are being cut back now, I think the general feeling is Covid is here and we have to live with it, just like flu.
If there is an annual vaccine to go towards protecting myself and my family, I will take it....just like flu.
If there are people working with the very vulnerable, and they are required to take the vaccine in order to keep their jobs, i believe in their choice not to be vaccinated, no one should be forced to have any medical procedure that's against their wishes.
If they choose that right above keeping their job....that's up to them, as it's up to the employer to employ vaccinated staff.

We (and parts of Canada) have actually let medical professionals go because they wouldn't get the vaccine, but have now asked others to come to work while still infected because we have so many vaccinated workers who are infected.
It's getting silly now and people are starting to realize that this is just one more thing in life to deal with. It's as manageable as it's going to get regardless of anyone's vaccination status. So let's stop fighting about it.

You have a point, it's got a real bone of contention between the vaxed and the none vaxed.
The NHS workers here who are unvaxxed will be let go too, the quarantine time for people with Covid has been cut from 10, to 7, to 5 days, as long as they test clear on the 5th day...it's madness to ask the still infected to work though, I hope that doesn't happen here.
The rules and regulations keep changing. I think it's become clearer that no one knew ANYTHING about Covid, and it seems not that many have definite knowledge even now.
The vaccine, whilst it does seem to prevent serious illness, certainly isn't the saviour everyone hoped for when it was first introduced.
