 I had to stop shopping with my ex early into the relationship. I whined constantly about wandering aimlessly in search of nothing in particular. 

 

My daughters have taken after me. They know what they want, get it, and get the hell out. No doubt they are still traumatized from being drug around stores as children.

 My mum and dad haven't shopped together for years for that reason. 

I've started buying my food shopping online, says me buying a load of stuff I don't need.

Daisy's dog food has shot up in price, I noticed this morning.

Plus I have decided own brand cereal is as good as Kellogg's

 I do make lists, usually manage to lose them before I even get to the shops.

The most useless list was a few years ago....went out for a bag of peat and some annuals....came back with a car.

 I love my car, it's a cabriolet, and (touch wood) been reliable, sporty, and probably the most favourite car I have ever owned.

Add a weeks shopping up, and it's putting a good few £££ on every shop.
Come the Autumn, when household and fuel prices rocket again...I think a lot of people are going to be really struggling.
