Glad you had a good time Mags.
It's not stopped raining here today, sad for people who have planned street parties and outside events.
Yes, the queen has been a brilliant lady, she made an appearance on the balcony for the Trooping of the Colour on Thursday, and seen on the news she made another appearance just now.
The little sketch she did with Paddington bear, before the concert last night, that was lovely.

How about you Madders, is the weather nice in Texas?
I'll bring shortbread, whisky, tablet and macaroon if you let me visit!!
By this time of year it's hot, followed by hot with nothing but hot in the forecast.
Except when we get a hurricane. Then it's rain, followed by rain, followed by hot again.
Weatherman earn their money in the spring around here.
By summertime you can train a monkey to do the weather.
Too hot for me Madders. Cloudy here, that suits me

Weather has been nice here the last few days but is pouring at the moment so I'll have to wait and take my little cherub out later.
I bought her a wee jacket last week (with a hood) anyway does anyone have a hamster?
Send me your address and consider it a gift!!

Sunny weather here the last few days but still a slight nip in the air. Daisy is getting a haircut tomorrow and at £35 a pop she is getting what is called a "short cut" this time. Think "buzz cut" the "long cut" is too expensive to maintain. Plus I bought her a new coat (tartan) recently so she'll be fine.

Daisers is a great wee dog, Mags!! So friendly and stops so everyone can pat her, every walk takes ages. It was four years yesterday since she came to live with me, four years last week since I lost my beautiful Jack.

It was terrible Mags and the way it happened was horrendous.
He was fine one minute, even ate his scrambled eggs, a weekend treat and then collapsed.
The look in his eyes, the howling, I'll never get over it but Shorty is a smashing wee dog.
Losing a pet is losing the member of the family.
It's great to have the good memories though, and the pics to go with them.

Oh how heartbreaking. My daughters dog, same breed, called me to come and see her dog, she wasn't getting up. I went and laid by her, and told my daughter to call her hub, I said she's had a stroke, and her heartbeat wasn't right. They took her to the vet, and yes, sadly I was right. They held her while she was put to sleep. Oh they cried, so did i. It's very hard isn't it V. 😭

It's heart breaking Mags.
Jack collapsed in the kitchen and we managed to get him into the living room were is was more comfortable.
I was lying on the floor beside him cuddling him when the Vet gave him the injection.
Kept telling him how much i loved him.
One of the worst things was my dad crying, he didn't even do that when his parents died.

Aw. Was it a heart attack? I held my dog when he passed. It broke my heart forever. He was a special boy to me. But we know this when we get them.
