Here's another one...
One rabbit saw nine elephants while going to the river.
Every elephant saw three monkey's going toward the river.
Each monkey had one parrot in each hand.
How many animals are going toward the river?
🙉🐘🐇🐦
We're looking for how many animals are going to the river, the elephants are a trick because it only says they are going towards the river, not to it.
Some people argue that the answer I've given isn't correct because birds aren't animals others argue it's actually as many as 82.
They say was it three distinctive monkey's or did the elephants see three each, which would mean 27 monkey's, and 54 birds.
Some argue to and toward are the same thing others say that it's not.
It says the elephants are going to the river, not towards it. Three monkeys are going towards it. So, we have 9 going to it. Three going towards it. Each monkey had a parrot in each hand, that's 6. So nine are going towards the river.

Here's another solution, which gives ten this is all from the same puzzle.
It's been called the battle of maths and English because it seems nobody can agree.
Probably several weeks if they have to order in the materials for 100 dolls. Unless these are magic elves who can magic up the materials. However if that were the case they should be able to magic up the dolls in an instant.

No, cos if it takes 5 elves 5 minutes to make 5 dolls, surely that means that each elf has taken 5 minutes to make a doll?
So, no matter how many elves there are, they must surely only take 5 minutes each to make a doll.
That's assuming that they all work at the same rate of course.

Yeah, but how is it five?

Another solution gives seven as the answer.
Yeah but how did you get five as the answer?
