My dad is at the end of the middle row on the left.
One of only two photos of my dad as a child.
Being the sixth of eight children his parents were very poor.
It's only him and the youngest two left now.
It's great we have photos like this to keep memories in the family

I agree.
A few years ago we went to the Salford Local History library at Peel Park, you probably know it.
They have archives of lots of school photos taken from local schools over the decades...I found one of my class. I will dig it out sometime and show it here.

It is Digs.
Shame though a lot from my mum's family photos are gone because her arsehole sister took them and everything else that wasn't nailed down when their mum died.

Shame but my primary school was the only one out of all the schools in our area that didn't take class photos.
It would have been good to look back at them.

We had a few class pics, sadly we didn't look after them. They are, like you say, great to look back on.
The one I did find in the library was the first year in Secondary, I could remember all the names, I really will dig it out and post it soon.

Found my old play school photo, thankfully it had the names on a card or I wouldn't have remembered a lot of the names.
I always look miserable, my mum even put my hair in bunches and bought nice ribbon.
