Not to brag, but I am pretty artistic and creative, so how come I cannot wrap presents nicely?
I even struggle with square boxes. just not capable of getting neat finishes.
(sorry, that's the only Christmas smiley I could find)
Going to wrap some the weekend. My daughter did her last weekend, never been known before 😲

I should put this in the 'irritating' thread really.
My grandson (grown up now and living independently) has an old Henry hoover, a part is broken, and it makes it harder to use...and if anyone has a Henry, they will know they are hard to use at the best of time, it's like dragging a bloody big dog around behind you.
Anyway, we have a Dyson stick vacuum, and it's good, so we said we would get him one for Christmas.
CURRYS, who have the best deals, have raised the price by almost £100....they will probably drop it for a Black Friday event, back to the original price, but we will be away then. So we either pay the inflated price now, or risk it being out of stock when we get home.

Cheeky sods. We just went in, the one we have, they had it at the same price we paid, but you now have to buy the attachments separately, so it works out a lot more expensive.
So....there was another Dyson model, actually one up from ours, with £130 off for a Black Friday deal....so we got him that one instead.

TBH Mags after everything that has happened to me over the last two years (and the rest of my f*cking awful life) I truly hate Christmas.
If i could go back to the '70s on Christmas Eve , Jason and the Argonauts, The Wizard of Oz and huge treats (for the time ) like Beef burger sandwiches and Angel Delight I would.
Cherish your families - I hope you all have a wonderful time.

Hiya Phil, I think we all look back with nostalgia at Christmas of our childhood. No matter how our lives have turned out, we gradually lose loved ones as we get older, and they can never be replaced, not for any of us.
Have you got a laptop yet? If you have, it would be good if you could rejoin.

Every Christmas we make a hamper up for our grandson and his girlfriend...started today.
Chocolates, chilli and garlic oils, will start on the booze soon.
I think if you are stuck on giving someone a nice present, a hamper makes a lovely gift...and making one up is a fraction of the cost of buying one.

When do folk put up their Christmas trees?
I'll put mine up at the start of December!!
It gives the house a cosy feel and it's nice!!

Oh and real or artificial?
Mine is artificial and my decorations have been gathered over the years.
Sentimental and nostalgia!!
