Tom Waits aint never going to get in the pop charts though others have with his music.
I was listening to this earlier and though it was written around fifteen years ago it could have been written tomorrow and would have the same significance showing something is seriously wrong.

It Isn't Gonna Suck Itself (Rare 1940s Song) by Anita Hardcok
Wonder if that's her real name.

I don't enjoy many covers but this is exceptional, the singer's range is incredible. Also watched a youtube vid of him singing this live (whilst experiencing flu) and he sounded just as good.
A remix version of the above...

The girl with the high voice used to be in The New Seekers. This is a bit of an earworm.

Bowie was brilliant. His later stuff was not as popular, but I found this track, recorded not long before he died, really haunting.
He sounds so vulnerable, like he knew he was coming to the end.

He wrote a song called The Hearts Filthy Lesson....about ageing. He was a cool dude right up until the day he died.

All is not what it seems here.
It's very clever.

The above Brubeck performance above is near thirty years before golden Brown was written making it impossible... it's a fake!
