The eco warriors and green supporters and other assorted woke mind sets have left a mountain of mess behind including polluting gas cannisters. What a bunch of hypocrites.
Definitely!

I like watching Glastonbury, the thought of being there would have always been my worst nightmare.
I checked the lineup..
I'll pass on all consumption of that "art'..
The 'art' also consisted of males in frilly tutus, earnestly dancing like prima ballerinas.
Nureyev would be turning in his grave.

According to the BBC - Shania Twain was described as "Fucking Amazing"** in an article titled "Shania Twain leaves Glastonbury much impressed"

** = "Frickin' Amazing"

The sound system is being blamed by many, for both Shania Twains and Cyndi Lauper's performances
Fact is...bad sound system or not, neither of them could hold a note

These are the female singers we grew up with, no fancy technic gadgets, no lip-syncing or autocorrect...they just stood there and sang.
Also Karen Carpenter and Shirley Bassey were fabulous vocalists.
Dusty was always pitch perfect, even Cilla could hold a note...albeit, sometimes a screechy one.

Yes they were proper singers. Cilla wasn't a great singer imo, but Dusty, Cher, Karen Carpenter and more were brilliant.

Like millions of other young men in the 60's I had the hots for Marianne.
Pity she couldn't do the concert...

This woman refused to conform so it affected her sales but she still managed to be a global star and just watch when she dies so many people will declare her greatness that they never did when she was alive.
She refused to bow to the corporate control of her music and continued to produce her very own style...

No she will be remembered globally for her music beyond a small set of UK telly enthusiasts.

That clip has been shown a million times, back when people actually watched TV.

Well I have scoured the BBC highlights and Youtube, some dire performances this year, yet none of Lulu....who is home grown, has lasted decades, and can still sing a damn sight better than some of the dross they have been showing.
Coldplay were brilliant though, and bringing Micheal J Fox on stage to perform with them was very touching.

I was always told I looked like her when young. Nowadays I've been told I still look like her. What a compliment.
I never saw it myself.

You do still resemble her Mags.
Actually, she doesn't look at all like she did when she was young nowadays. Not surprising as she has had a lot of health worries as well as having lived a very colourful life.
I always liked her couldn't give a damn attitude.
Definitely!
