No doubt stories will emerge about what an oddball he was, they usually do.
He was just a kid though, it's a sorry mess.

He had bombs in his car. He injured two people and killed one. Trump was shot at 6 times, such a lucky man.
He must have planned all this, so not mentally ill imo.
Apparently security or police were told by someone that there's a man on the roof. He was ignored. How bad that?
The whole thing stinks. Notice shooter got up there unseen, ignored by security when told about him, then shooter shot dead. Just like Kennedy's assassination.

Bobby Kennedy Jr has been asking for security for months but keeps getting refused.
Seems he's been getting death threats but Biden is refusing him any secret service.
His father was murdered on the campaign in 68, do they want a repeat?
Of course Biden is. He is Obama and Clinton man. They will not win the Presidency.
Thankfully Trump wore one. That poor spectator killed.
A former firefighter, he died protecting his daughter.
There needs to be a full investigation into the whole thing, not a whitewash but a proper investigation.

I totally agree. I think there's more to it.

Yeah, there's more to this. I think the higher ups are terrified that Trump will get voted in.

I think him getting shot has seriously upped the odds of him getting the presidency!

Yep he is the future President now.
I feel something's off though, why didn't security investigate the shooter when told he was up there. Hmmmm

Heartbreaking really.
Maybe if people had been kinder to him, or adults had stepped in to stop the bullying when it started, these tragic events would never have taken place.

There's two sides to the problems with young men. What you say is correct, but bullying is hardly a new phenomenon. We also have softer men that "break" easier.
The statistics for the overall state of men under 30 is depressing. It's not going to end well.

They did. The local police were in charge of that area. When onlookers finally tracked one down, the cop climbed the ladder and made contact with the shooter. The cop ducked down when the kid wheeled on him, got on the radio and announced there was a shooter..
The anti sniper teams started looking for the shooter, the shooter knew it was now or never and started shooting. That made his location obvious and he was killed seconds later.
If that kid had 5,10 or maybe 15 more seconds and didn't need to rush his shot, thar bullet would probably have gone a few inches to the right and this would be a different story.

To me it's a no brainer that a flat roof in the vicinity would not only be checked out but constantly surveyed.

Bullying isn't new, but I think it's got worse. Kids can be bullied in their own homes via the internet now, what should be a place of safety isn't any more.
I agree men have got softer, possibly because women have got tougher, and many sons don't have dads to guide them.
I think suicide is now the biggest cause of deaths in younger men in the UK, possibly in the US too....that's scary.

Oh we wasn't told a cop looked Madders. Trump was a very lucky man. Do they know why he shot at him?

Suicide and deaths of desperation. It's hard to distinguish the two. I don't think most folks who OD on drugs mean to die, but they also don't care if they do.

A lot of details are just coming out. Like why was that building left unguarded? Also, the cop who actually climbed the ladder didn't engage the shooter but retreated and got on the radio..
That gave the shooter the 3-4 seconds to start shooting
No idea what the kid was thinking. Maybe he wasn't even politically motivated and just wanted the attention so many of these young men want..

During the run up to the 2020 Presidential Election I saw youtube videos of teachers telling their classes that Trump had been spotted in the building and then they got all the children to run out of class screaming for their lives. It also happened in University. This shooter would have been 16 at the time and would have likely been brainwashed by his teachers that Trump was a menace and evil. Four years later during the next Presidential Election cycle he tries to assassinate Trump and kills a bystander in the process. Wonder if his school can be taken to court.

If something was set up, they wouldn't have missed. The shot wasn't that difficult for someone with a little experience.
Unless you think Trump set it up. I doubt he'd be on board with that kid shooting at him..
When it comes to government making mistakes, it's 99% incompetence or a lack of diligence. Almost never some sort of treachery.

The image showing a bullet hole in Trump's jacket is fake news according to the fact checkers. Trump hasn't mentioned it (he mentioned being shot in the ear) and there have been no news reports on it.
