I just want to point out that around 40% of Muslims in the UK were actually born in the UK. But it’s to be hoped that the police know what they’re doing in so quickly ruling it out as a terrorist attack. I do get why they’re doing that, but it does seem a little premature imo.
Even though one of the suspects is of ‘Caribbean descent’, who’s to say he may not have been radicalised ? 🤷🏻♀️ Radicalised lunatics come from all ethnicities and religious denominations. And who’s to say the ‘black’ suspect hasn’t converted and espoused extreme Islamist tendencies?

How are people supposed to feel and stay safe when the seriously mentally ill are on the streets. Don’t get me wrong I feel sad he suffers from schizophrenia but my sympathy can only stretch so far.

It's difficult o get children assessed properly, I know someone who has a mentally handicapped son, and she has always struggled and had to fight tooth and nail to get proper outside care for him. He is adult now, but doesn't go out alone, and he has never been violent.
But what of children who do have violent tendencies? They grow into big, strong adults, some can be treated with medication, but like Mags has said, who ensures they take it?

The Stockyards aren't nearly as crazy, but it's also a better mix of people. Not a huge crush of just young people.
No doubt there are drunken idiots but not as many.
