Bad customer service when eating out...GOD, it drives me mad.
I have just struck off my list one of my favourite little bistro's....service has been going down for the last 2 years.
Such a pity when the food is good.

Yeah, I hate that too. When the chef leaves you know it's going to go downhill too.

I hate that...places don't usually improve when a well established good chef leaves.
The food is still good where I go, since Covid, no money is taken, everything is table service, and the orders are transferred electronically from waiter to bar and kitchen...and it's slow.
On Sunday, we waited ages for a waiter to take the order...then we got the food (well, half of the order came, the other half came 10 minutes later) before the drinks arrived, when I asked the waiter where the drinks were, he said they were coming....then dashed off.
As we were leaving, he asked if we had enjoyed the night, I said 'Food was great as usual, service was not'...he had the nerve to protest, then ended up apologising.
It put a dampener on the night, so we will give it a miss for a bit.

Neck ache.
I have woken up with the worst pain in my neck, so bad, I have cancelled plans for today.
How come you can go to bed relatively fit, and wake up feeling and walking like Quasimodo?

That happens to me where I almost can't drive because I can't turn my head to look over my shoulder..
I litterly grab my chin to rotate my head while I grit my teeth. I'm sure a passenger in my car would think I have a mental issue. 😉

A trio of pain in the necks.
I am not one for taking painkillers, but today I have taken quite a few...hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Neck pain eased a lot, with the help of more painkillers. Then OH drove too fast over a huge bump in the road...and it came back with a vengeance.

The reason i haven't been around is because of my hands, that horrible, really painful dry skin and hacks came back.
They're a bit better now, well not as painful, i can bend my fingers now.
My 82 year old father has been waiting ages for a hospital appointment and it finally came yesterday at a hospital 30 miles away.
He's crippled with arthritis and can barely walk but that made no difference.

Your poor dad. 30 miles is a long way to travel for treatment.
I know how horrible arthritis can be...I have a new knee and hip, waiting for the other knee to be done, and my ankle is also badly affected. I'm hoping the neck pain is a simple cause and not further arthritic pain.
Wishing your dad the best.

Contact dermititis Syl, just have to try and work out what's causing it.
