Why do people give a fuck whether a forum is busy or not busy??????????
I don't understand this logic:
Forum = quiet = ITS SHIT
Forum = busy = ITS GREAT
Allow me to explain it to you. :lesson:
A thriving busy forum means its popular and doing well, same as anything in life.
A busy cafe full of patrons is doing well, a cafe with no custom ends up closing. There are usually reasons why businesses fail, so the empty cafe does below standard food for example and the thriving cafe will offer quality food.
Ergo a dead forum with few posters means its a pretty crap forum with nothing to offer or people would choose to post there. Hope the coffee analogy helped your understanding of a fairly basic premise ..!

You can't use the cafe analogy because this place doesn't depend on a regular revenue stream. There are no staff to pay. The rent is trivial, the site hosting costs are paid by Shell.
Any one of us could start a bit of outrage and get the traffic up again. I might post a few more of Xtras emails where she's asking if she can suck my cock and will I spit in her mouth, that'll get the turnover guaranteed for a few more months. But nah, CM doesn't need it.
