🤣 @ Syl!
I‘m tempted to start a thread of people’s most hated songs, ever. Music that makes your ears bleed, curl up in a deep cringe, or instantly hit ‘Mute & Fast Forward’!
This has got to be one of mine - not sure if it’s a love song or a warbling funeral dirge. The twittering birds don’t help. And when Minnie hits those high notes….!

…. and now I need an antidote to Minnie’s warbling
Love this song - visually stunning vid too (especially the dressage horses! ♥️)

I actually liked it, even though she warbled through it.😆

Odd you should post that one. When I was pregnant, that song was played quite a lot, and it honestly made me feel physically sick.
I have no idea why, just the intro would make me feel ill, If I could, I would get away before the screeching bit.

@ Syl…glad I’m not the only one. It’s just one long nauseating cringe from start to finish.
I wonder if those batshit high notes caused permanent damage to her vocal cords.

I don't think they had time to, sadly she died when she was only 31.
The only other singer I know who could hit those incredibly high notes was Eve out of the New Seekers. I used to work with her, and oddly, I loved her voice, she didn't screech like Mini.

(Aww, Syl, I didn’t know she passed away at such a young age. That’s very sad.) Anyway, good morning Whiners!

One of the most hated songs by folks who run karaoke shows because it's sung about every night at least once..

I don't know if gets droney. It's just any song poorly done twice a night gets old.
I try to avoid karaoke altogether now, but I might make an exception tonight. I basically never go out on Wednesday but tomorrow is Thanksgiving.
If I sing it's usually Troubadour or a Pirate Looks at.40..
Strait and Buffet aren't powerful singers with a great range. I can half ass sing their songs..
If a girl wants to do a duet, ill do Jackson by Johnny and June.
But if I go out tonight, I'll likely just be a spectator..

The only song there I know is Jackson, good duet, as long as you can get that low.
My karaoke fav is this...I was offered a job once in a blokes club when I sang it. I declined.

I can sing in Cash's range.
I'm not surprised you don't know King George even though he's had more nimber ones than the Beatles, MJ or Taylor Swift (60)..
But The Parrot Heads were a bit of a global phenomenon I thought..
Do you use the moves when you sing? 😎😉
