This Hurricane Milton is making me nervous and I'm in Scotland.

It's knowing there's going to be so much destruction and loss of life and just waiting for it to happen.

I'm thinking of them alot. They can't get away, too much traffic. I hope they survive, but they reckon many won't. Oh it's horrible.

We will get the tail end eventually, but it won't be anything like that.

It sounds horrendous. They are saying 15 foot waves could wipe out many of the houses, the poor people who are unable to get away in time must be terrified.

Maybe scare tactics will persuade some to move....I pity the ones who cant.

Milton, on top of Helene is just crazy. It's going to be ugly in that part of the country for awhile.

Thankfully they are on slightly different tracks and won't hit the same people twice.

Texas has been completely spared this year of any serious hurricanes..

They can move the traffic, if they have enough gasoline for everyone. That's the problem. When everyone fills up on one day, they drain the gas stations.

Florida does what we do in Texas. We make both sides of the interstate highways one way leading from the coast to move people quickly. But you ain't moving without gasoline..
