It's a lovely day.
We planted a 'Susan' Magnolia tree about 10 years ago. It was supposed to be one of the smaller Magnolias...it's now over 15 ft high, which isn't a problem, but it's so wide we can't see when we are backing off the drive.....pruning has just encouraged it to grow, so today, it's having a serious chop.

I think this would be considered a heat wave in the UK.. TBF, it's even a little warm for this time of year here..
Very cold here today but at least we've had no rain recently.
I don't mind the food when I'm out walking Shorty because I can wrap up but hate the rain.
Some parts of Scotland are supposed to get snow next week but I think that's mostly up North.

Did a three mile drive this morning along a tree-lined road and it was raining yellow leaves all the way. It's like the trees have decided to shed their loads all at the same time.

Another miserable day.
I need new dog walking boots, I want one's with good soles.
Tried to delete one of those pics and added a third.
Anyway, if you ever visit Texas, come in October..
The wind can be heard howling high up but nothing serious down at ground level.
What is it with you and your gigantic page stretching pictures?
I know everything is supposed to be bigger in Texas, not necessarily better.
Storm Ashley is causing havoc.
My Greenhouse blew away and was wizzing round the garden, I had to dismantle it in the pishing rain and put it in the coal seller.
I don't know why it's called that because it's never contained coal.
Anyway there's tomatoes everywhere and a small white furry person won't leave them alone!!
Its my phone. 🤷
We had some strong winds, but they soon passed, it's very quiet and still now.
She's still at them Syl!!
Why is it if you say to a child or dog "don't go near that" it's the first thing they do!!
So true. Same as if you say to someone don't touch the plate it's hot....something compels them to touch it.
All dogs should be taught the "leave it" command.
Terriers are a bit more difficult than say a Labrador..
He even speaks your language..
