Rachel Reeves crying in the Commons. Do you feel sorry for her? I don't.
When she sheds as many angst tears as the people she’s determined to plunge into poverty…
Her and her “tears” can jog on.
I think her tears were genuine as such displays of weakness of emotion are extremely rare. Saving face in politics, especially PMQ's, is the norm. Do I feel sorry for her? Due to the poverty she is willing to inflict on the elderly and disabled, no. But these were like tears of betrayal, I think Starmer probably promised "they were in it together" or some similar lie.
In truth, he approved in her idea to decrease the Winter fuel allowance and he also stood beside her for a long time on the jarring welfare cuts. He's a snake, just as bad as she is, although I hate to say it about a Labour government. He totally threw her under the bus.

Like the tears of betrayal shed by the millions who elected them.
She and her ilk can naff right off as far as I am concerned, they deserve every ounce of face slapping vitriol flung their way. They’re a disgrace.

Well, it is now being claimed she was upset due to "personal reasons". I don't buy that and think less of her for trying to make up a daft excuse. She was upset Starmer didn't confirm she would remain as Chancellor.
Although if somebody was visibly crying opposite me I wouldn't bring attention to it, roaring "She's miserable" like the leader of the opposition decided to do. She knew full well the Chancellor was crying, not merely "miserable" .The camera 's picked up on that without her crass finger pointing.

"Bank of Wokeland"
The BoE is to redesign banknotes with 'diversity in mind' and traditional historical figures like Churchill are to be replaced.
Victoria Cleland, the Bank of England’s chief cashier, said "gender, ethnicity and disability, could be taken into account when planning new designs.
I reckon the new notes should feature David Lammy, Bob Vylan, that black fella in a wheelchair who the BBC wheel out every 4 years for the Paralympics, and a scene depicting illegal immigrants stepping onto our shores.

One of the few "good" pics from an sad independence day in Texas. So many sad stories coming out of the Hill Country..
Poor darlings. I wonder how many of their buddies might have been swept away.
Horrendous tragedy.

It's heartbreaking - maybe one of those miracle situations might happen whereby someone is found alive days after a disaster, against all the odds
I can't picture a river rising 26 feet in 45 minutes.

some are hinting that there's been cloud seeding going on over Texas.
Historic flooding. Entire towns underwater. At least 24 dead with many more missing including children. And just months ago? Texans reported BLUE RAIN falling from the sky. Now here's what they're hiding: Texas is running 7 massive cloud seeding programs: all state-authorized under the Weather Modification Act of 1967. Planes. Chemicals. Skies sprayed to "enhance rainfall" across millions of acres These aren’t rumors. They’re licensed weather manipulation ops spanning millions of acres. They say it’s to “enhance rainfall.” But now? Entire towns are underwater. Coincidence? Or did they push the clouds too far and trigger this flood? Modified clouds. Engineered storms. Blue rain. This isn’t just bad weather. It looks a hell of a lot like weather warfare. Source: Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation, TDLR, Weather Modification Annual Report

Sounds as though they have money to burn.
Disgusting taking our historic people off bank notes.
Another way of destroying our history, until we have none left!
