Then I can only say you're very small minded and still moving the goalposts all over the place.

No, I'm consistent regardless of what your or Trumps position is.
Maybe that sorta consistency is small minded where you come from..🤷

According to Grok, the current Trump tariffs in place are 25% against Canada and Mexico (with 10% on energy) 20% on China, 25% on global steel and aluminium and now 25% on cars.
Everything else looks like a negotiating tactic which I guess shouldn't be surprising as Trump is unlikely to want to push the US into recession.
I don't really see how any of this is going to improve living standards in the US but it doesn't seem like a lot Americans care that much about their increasing levels of poverty.

It won't. But there are those that say it will allow for higher wages.
Then there are those that will say it will result in more revenue for the government. And that's always a good thing because then the government has more money to help people..😉

PHILADELPHIA — Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner warned illegal immigrants living in government-funded housing, telling Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview that HUD is prioritizing only Americans under the Trump administration.
"Those that are here illegally, that are living in HUD-funded public housing, we're putting (them) on notice this is not acceptable," Turner told Fox News Digital from Philadelphia, as he toured the city's recent HUD successes and met with local housing and business leaders. "We will not have it anymore,"
Also, only legal green card holders can get HUD (government) backed loans now. I had no idea they could before.
Those loans are for American citizens. At least they are now.

Read today that over 6 million US mortgage holders are now in default, the highest in over 20 years.
A lot of what Trump does s a distraction, but the economy is what must keep him up at night. It will eat his presidency alive if he doesn't get a handle on it.

We’re talking about an epically ignorant charlatan with a string of bankruptcies to his name - including TWO casinos. Then there’s Musk’s unfettered careening lunacy in the mix.
None of that inspires confidence.

Yes, and with stagnant values, it's hard to get out from under any mortgage that was recently created with little to no money down.
It's not 2008 again, but there are similarities. The federal regulators had gone into "let's make sure we serve the minority community mode" instead of let's make sure we only loan money to people who can withstand a few bumps in the road..

Imagine what it's going to be like if he gets the jobs back to America that his greedy friends shipped out to places where they'd get ever cheaper labour!
An Apple ipad or iphone will cost twice as much if manufactured in America same for everything else!

I don't know anything about the bloke, but agree with what he's saying.
"American tax dollars should be used for the benefit of American citizens, especially when it comes to an issue as pressing as our nation’s housing crisis," Turner said Monday.
As it should be in the UK. We have our own homeless on the streets, and yet we get immigrants being put into hotels and complaining the rooms aren't big enough...even complaining about the food etc.

The Pentagon this week ordered the elimination of lower physical fitness standards for women in combat units, a move that is likely to hinder the recruitment and retention of women in particularly dangerous military jobs.
An order by Pete Hegseth, the defense secretary, dated Sunday and announced on Monday, mandated that all physical fitness requirements for combat arms positions — units likely to see significant fighting in wartime — be “sex-neutral,” which is likely to significantly reduce the number of women who meet the requirements. The order directs military leadership to implement the new fitness standards by the end of October.
I'm cool with this. The military needs to discriminate oh the basis of fitness..

Sure. But maybe that should start with the pisshead who’s running the place.
Murdoch never even trusted him beyond anchoring a weekend show on FOX.
