True.
I've never boiled a potato in my life unless I was going to mash them.
Do you cut them up and serve them plain?

School mash had black lumps in it...gross. Please don't make me think of them when I am eating my boiled potatoes.
Anyway, tonight, It's another Pizza and Prosecco night with family. Off to Sainsburys in a bit to get their brilliant deal of 2 very large pizza's and a large bottle of coke for £8.

Why would potatoes have black lumps?

They obviously mashed the eyes and the black bits that normal people cut out. No doubt the whole potato was lumpy, it was just more obvious when it was black/
Anyway...Sainsbury's have stopped doing their Pizza deal, so it's cost £25 instead of £16....and no free cokes either.

You're better off without the coke anyway. Unless you need to clean your battery terminals..

That sounds delicious. Think I’ll do a sausage casserole with some mash.

Well make up your mind. Is it sparkling wine or Champagne?
I must admit I've never seen anyone drink either with pizza.

Or boiled potatoes, lol
It's Champagne....not that dissimilar to Prosecco imo....goes great with Pizza, but two heathens drank lager instead.
So we had a bit of a disaster. I managed to cook a load of chicken drumsticks, made a huge salad, bought a bit of tapas. Champagne chilled....all that had to be cooked was the Pizza's. Two veggies the rest pepperoni and spicy meats, and my oven gave up the ghost just as everyone arrived.
Thankfully, I have a great friend and neighbour who let me borrow her oven.
Off oven shopping tomorrow.

If it's an old school gas oven, it can probably be fixed pretty easily..
